Oh and here's a thought!! When version 2 hits the market, I think it would be kinda nice to have the display on the wider side of the device Even though I know what I've got the thing set on, I still like to be able to to glance at it. I know, it's my OCD LOL. I have to say though, I've been pleasantly surprised by how well this device delivers, and whether or not it's PWM, dna 30ish, or anything in between, for $40, it's pretty hard to complain about a first production model doing what this thing does, and as well built as it seems to be. Maybe istick 2 will have a fingerprint sensor with wifi and be able to schedule your next juice order for you. Who knows. But technology in this case is moving interestingly fast and in a very exciting way.

Vape on!!

I've only used the 1.8s, and I think I wouldn't even try the 1.6s on this. But definitely get one. They are amazing.

That's what I wanted to hear....so far the the only topper I have used on this with any success is a Kayfun 3.1....it's a stellar vape, but it feels like a boat anchor when I put it in my pocket. I need something when I'm out and about that doesn't pull my pants down...Thanks

Being in the UK I have been searching for the Istick as it looks great and I want to move up from ego vv batteries that I currently use. Found these guys in Ireland Electronic Cigarettes Ireland | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs | e-smokeireland and it says on pre order.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered on Monday 29th and got an e-mail on Tuesday 30th saying it has been shipped :) Hopefully will get it today or tommorow can't wait to try it and retire the ego batteries as spares.

Edit - just checked there site again and now not on pre order so I guess they have had a delivery :):):):)

Do you use a mini naughty BVC? It's the only tank I've used on my iStick, so I don't know whether or not it rattlesnakes with others. :shrugs: As I said, it doesn't bother me in the least, so...

I am getting amazing flavor off of this thing, btw...

That's where I ordered mine last night and I've had an email this morning saying it's been shipped. At the moment it looks as though they've only got pink in stock but that's the one I wanted.

I've just had a letter from the UK dated 29 July delivered to me in France today - I really hope the istick doesn't take that long to reach me :D

Here's a question for all of you "and I " iStick users. Do you use your thumb, or your index finger to pull the trigger? I've always used my thumb, but now with little gem, I kinda like using the old pointer [emoji4]

Oh and for some reason I keep going between 11 watts & 12 chasing my sweet spot. Damn OCD!!!

I am switching off alot on which finger I use. The iStick feels so nice in my hand that I move it around alot, so when its time to hit the button, I just use the finger thats closest.

quick update: Im the one who posted the innards of the Eleaf Istick earlier because I was having a bad 510 atomizer connection when screwed on too tightly. I ended up breaking my up and down buttons, but later read in this thread about some madvapes circuitboard spacer. Wasnt able to buy one due to a shipping restriction or something so I ended up creating the most bootleg fix. I had a shaving cream bottle top made of plastic, and then heated a steel beauty ring to melt out a makeshift O-ring. Melted another smaller hole in the middle and sanded it down. I kept sanding it down and rescrewing it to the istick until it made a connection. With this O-ring, I can screw it down really tight without causing the istick to say atomizer short and got rid of the wobbly atomizer fix without the risk of screwing up the connection by screwing on my atomizer too tight. I just cant believe this actually worked so well. Btw...the plastic O ring I made feels about the thickness of 1 or 2 peices of paper! lol.
Now im just stuck at 4.1 volts since i broke my up and down buttons on my first attempt opening this thing.

For clarity (re Reddit conversation), I have tried not to claim I know what is going on with the voltage on the iStick, and have tried to be clear about that in my posts.

I regret if I claimed anything to be confirmed regarding the issue, and apologize if I mis-phrased.

I BELIEVE that the istick is displaying Vave instead of Vrms, resulting in the hotter vape reported by me and others.

I'm certain Phil will have the data at some point.

Vape Happy!

Well thanks to roxynoodle, I must have one of these things!

Can one of you tell me the specs on these? I saw the 5.5volt/20watt limit, but I haven't found the amp ceiling or lowest resistance coil it will fire. From what one person was saying, it looks like it might be 4amps? Sorry, searching this thread got me nowhere, and it's too long to read through all 1,700+ posts.

4 Amp Max sounds about Right for Volts x Ohms = Amps with a Freshly Charged Battery.

Was your Istick charged when you got it? When you plug it into the charger, is there a light when it is fully charged or just the line of bars?
Mine was almost fully charged.
When you charge, the battery icon is blinking, when charged i don't remember if there is no more battery icon or if it just stop to blink but it's easy to see the difference.
