Why wouldnt they send the samples to the top viewed reviewers? Seems to me if they wanted to get the word out about a new product, they would send them to reviewers people actually watch. Just doesn't make sence to me.

It is an interesting marketing choice. The device by itself looks stellar. With the way sales look at the moment, I guess they didn't need to take the chance that one of the "heavyweights" might give it a thumbs down...

Oh, good! I talked my friend into buying one from Avid. This will be her first mod moving up from Spinners/Twists. I knew that it was a full kit but did not know that the wall wart came with it too. :thumb:

Yeah, Avid really is the full package- I knew it came with the charging cable, but I didn't know that it also included the wall connector. I'm pretty happy that I went with them.

With some other unknowns, I would recommend someone going with them, unless there is a mainstream vendor that gets them soon.

That and the fact that they already have a solid reputation in the market most likely played a role. I don't put much stock in reviews from "professional reviewers" Unless their tastes are the same as mine, they don't really do much for me.

There have been several things that the "reviewers" gave a thumbs down to over the years and they ended up being solid products.

A beginner is going to change flavors and nic levels often at the start.

Well, I know I'm unusual (in more ways than one), but I'm vaping the same nic level that I did from day 1 (12mg), and I never change flavor during the day. Usually I vape a whole bottle of something until its empty then move on to the next bottle. So, depending on the size of the bottle, I might vape the same flavor for a week.

I messaged uvape to ask for a refund on the two I ordered on their preorder (they stated in their auction/ad they would). Almost immediately I got shipping info with tracking number from them. Delivery date is Oct. 28-Nov.5. It'll be interesting to see what's going on there. Looks like I may end up with 4 to add to the one I have now.

I have lots of wall warts and charging cables so that was no biggie for me not to get one. But, in the case of new vapers it is a real plus. Or just vapers that may not have the cable and wart for the same that others are charging without.

I got mine today from Avid vapor, has everything you need. (including 510 to ego) adapter, which i used right away since i have the aspire bdc tanks.
But those coils have been replaced with the bvc coils , and it's working superbly.:vapor:

Not to get off "the stick" subject........but......this might be a good time to check out eBay,craigslist, etc.....Lots of folks will be cleaning house and putting up their older devices to make room for "the stick"....Might catch a good deal!;)

Mine really does, but I don't mind it. Kind of a soothing noise.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Wow. I guess some may rattle then. I love the rattle noise on my Zmax but, I do not get it at low or high wattage with the iSticks. Yes. Soothing is what I say too.
