1, can I use my iPhone wall plug and mini USB from my MVP to charge it safely? Question 2, is my nautilus Mini going to work, or will I need an adapter?
Thanks in advance y'all. Mine is due to arrive anytime now and I want to be ready to go!
1. Yes
2. Nauti will work without an adapter cause it have native 510 connection.

The problem is that in the vaping world it has become expected and accepted for products to be defective or not as advertised.

3/5 aspire bdc heads are bad? No problem buy more heads.

New rda or tank designed wrong, floods gurgles dry hits messed up somehow ? Get the next version we promise this one works fine.

Istick hitting burning juice at 3v? Build /get higher ohm coils dude.

It's time these companies get their act together. If you bought a 10 dollar clone from fasttech and got screwed is your fault. But this is different.

They must be held to a higher standard, this is 2014 not 2009 vaping scene

Do you know of ANY product that hasn't had defective units sold/in circulation? No product is perfect. Many people LOVE the Nautilus tanks. I had one, hated it and traded for a product I preferred. But I don't kvetch through the Nautilus threads complaining ad infinitum............ No product is going to be perfect for every vaper. That's why there are so many variations in mods, tanks, coils, etc:vapor: If you feel it's defective/deceptive then contact the maker, and demand a refund, All this banter about "I deserve this or that" for goodness sakes.....it's a $35 mod that delivers a helluva bang for the buck.

I have 2 iStick questions that have likely been addressed many times here, but please humor me! Question 1, can I use my iPhone wall plug and mini USB from my MVP to charge it safely? Question 2, is my Nautilus Mini going to work, or will I need an adapter?

Yes on both, I use my iPhone wall plug all the time (you will need a micro USB plug to charge, darn iPhones still use a different charging pin from the rest of the world). I love my mini nautilus on it, just screw it on and go. It feels like this device was made for the mini & bvc coils!

Doing research on Alababi.com. I am showing the Istick being manufactured by, Ismoka with 1 factory and eleaf with 2 facilities so that be the answer to some of these questions. So who has the Ismoka versions and the eleaf versions

Ismoka is the company, eleaf is the brand. They're the same thing.

From their October 26, 2013 press release:

Dear all,

Since iSmoka’s foundation, we have released many kinds of e-cigarette kits and spare parts, such as the new iKit, previous IPIPE, iGo, i118, Magoo and so on. We were sticking to innovation and customer service in the past few years and have transformed from strugging for survival to strategic and systematic brand development.

Nowadays, we’d like to announce that iSmoka has its own brand for its products, “Eleaf”. All of our products will use Eleaf brand, like package, logo and so on. iSmoka is the name of factory and company. Hope everyone will not be confused.

We hope that more and more users can support and enjoy a healthy and happy life by using Eleaf branded e-cigs. Your inspiration and satisfaction are the best return for us.

Lastly, we wish everyone a nice day and happy life!

Ok for you old schoolers here's a Zippo and the iStick (and I'll be ordering more lets put it that way) Haven't touched the MVP's since I got it (wobbly tanks and all the dental floss fixes in the world, I still love it!!)

I didn't think my iStick had a screen protector either, but after a few days I started to feel a sharp edge near the firing button. I started unconsciously playing around with that sharp edge and before I knew it, the protector was peeling off. When it was new it was pretty much invisible.

SO glad you posted this! Mine too had looked like it had a protective film that was starting to peel by the firing button, but my finger nail couldn't get it started. I thought mine was chipped and it was driving me nutts! Picked at it with a tool, and off she came!...OCD, under control for now.

This is my new object of obsession....which in my experience means I should wait , but I doubt I am going to do that. I generally make poor choices when it comes to obsessing about things. Hey, I'm an American....I've got 41 years of learned behavior and suggestive advertising to try and keep at bay. It's not easy.

That said...IF I can quiet the imperious urge for this for a while, what are the chances they'll improve the 510 connection wobble in this version...and for those veterans who've been around awhile, any guesses on how long I might have to wait for a version 2 other potential improvements?

I am already convinced this is worth $40...but for $50 in a couple months maybe it will be in the superior category.

Mine has a screen protector. I leave them on until they start to come loose.
My threads are fine on the 510 and the ego adapter.
Using 1.8, 2.2, 2.8 ohm. It's all good. Don't even care about the numbers.
I'm getting about a day out of a charge. Chain vape.
I've been getting 1 no-fire per batt cycle. I think it's calculating something.
Can't find a single con.:)
It's too bad there seem to be some units with quality control issues because they are so hard to define.
Has anyone checked with the vendor about an exchange? They are selling enough of them it would make sense for a reputable vendor.

Here's what I find amusing. We, the buying public are what drive the demand for the next, better, "newer" , widget. We clamor for more, faster. Then we fault the manufacturers for releasing it too early, even though it satisfies a huge percentage of their target market and does most of what it claims.

This thing costs less than a carton of smokes did , which I'd burn in a week. I'm not setting out to throw money away on stuff that's junk either...but I like to occasionally step back and remind myself that this is what our culture is. We are consumers. We like having lots of stuff, and options, and we like it cheap.

It appears this little device is selling in a massive way. I'm certainly clamoring for one....but I'm wondering if I waited 2 months would they have a few of the little tweaks worked into the manufacturing on them.

I think the iStick is really nice. It just didn't work for me using (for example) an EVOD clearo with a 2.5 ohm coil (factory). That was with MBV 50/50 liquids.

I solved the problem by using a BDC clearo (single flavor), but I like to swap out clearos (> 12 flavors) on my other batteries (EVOD, MVP, eVic, VTR, mini eGo, etc.), and I really use the iStick for those clearos.

If Phil shows the iStick outputs indicated Vrms, I'll offer to send him my iStick to test (as long as he sends it back).

Inquiring minds need answers!!!

After 4 days with the Istick I get about 8 hrs of normal use on battery. It seems identical to the KGO 2200 mah battery. If you haven't seen it search ebay. I bought 3 of those at $12..00 . The kgo is a pain to charge. It has a step charge. You have to remove it from the charger and reattach until charged. The internal battery is probably a 16650 . If Istick comes out with a replaceable internal it will have to be that size, if they want to keep the size the same. Because of the cost of the KGO I think the price of the Istick should be around $25.00. Just my opinion.
