Tiny ?

What an understatement !

This is overall shorter than my Mini REO and almost a 1/4" narrower...about the same thickness.

Wowzer !

I put on a tiny rda that I had on something else...
It reads 1.4...without changing the setting it came at (3.0V)...It's just fine for me :)

My threads are just getting to sloppy so I'm using the 510 to 510 adaptor that was provided with one of my aero tank skirts. Prefer the other way but I'm not about to strip this baby out.

Doesn't the Size just make you Smile. I Crack-Up looking at my iStick sometimes for No Other Reason.

With the Possible Exception that it ONLY Cost about 40 Bucks.

I use an adapter on all my precious mods to preserve the threads.
It's much easier to replace an adapter than to replace the 510 connector, and I've done both.

Yay! My iStick is out for delivery.

Well I'm home from work and my iStick was waiting for me. Fired it up and battery showed full charge. Unscrewed a KPT1 I'd been using all day on my Provari mini with a stock Kanger coil assembly rated at 1.8Ω. The Provari mini says it's actually 2.1Ω. The iStick said 2.0Ω. Big deal. The vape experience was pretty much the same when I set the iStick to 3V to account for its Vavg (or mean) output voltage.

I shifted to VW and screwed on a 2.5Ω carto tank and set the iStick to fire at 7W vs. my usual 7.2 - 7.5W. All is good with my vape experience less than an hour in to my iStick.

For me the iStick is more pocketable than my Provari mini while still delivering a good vape. Unless something changes over the weekend my iStick will be my work stealth vape device come Monday morning.

BTW I've been involved in electronics and the electrical industry beginning ~45 years ago. I am very familiar with voltage outputs viewed via o'scope and other test instruments. All I really care about is my own user experience. The rest is just a curiosity.

Interesting.

Love the size and form factor, be interested to see real battery tests. 2200 mah sounds a bit liberal, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

The One I took apart had a Lipo Battery marked as 7.77wh which comes out to 2100mAh I believe.

That's what i get also......must be like how they rate everything we buy these days..ie. 2 x 4 boards, TV screens etc, etc, etc,. it's all nominal size!

Eah... 2100mAh, 2200mAh. What's 100mAh among Friends?

Maybe it is One of those Round Up/Round Down things?

BTW - When Cartomizers first came out, I remember reading how 1 Cartomizer was about he Same as 3 Packs of Cigarettes.

And the 1st Cartomizers were Smaller than a Standard Cartomizer is Today.

LOL

Can anyone please tell me which adapter comes with the Istick so I can look for one? Is it an EGO to 510, 510 to 510, or 510 to Ego, or some other one?
My Istick did not contain the adapter or cord. Also, who would sell them seperate?

I realize I can use the Istick without the adapter, but I want one as I rest my finger there when using the raised tank.

It's a 510 to Ego. Just about any vender has them. Very easy to find.

It's funny, unless you are customer service at a lumber yard when someone comes back after buying a bunch of lumber for their first carpentry project, and is all upset because none of the wood they got was actually the stated size (yes, it really happens).

Are you sure it was a Lipo? I thought these had LiIon 18650's.

Sure looked like a Lipo to me.

And what came out of it when I tried to Cut the Wrapper off looked like Electrolyte Gel.

With gelled electrolyte added, what then is the difference between a normal Li‑ion and Li‑ion polymer? As far as the user is concerned, the lithium polymer is essentially the same as the lithium-ion battery. Both use identical cathode and anode material and contain a similar amount of electrolyte. Although the characteristics and performance of the two systems are alike, the Li‑polymer is unique in that a micro porous electrolyte replaces the traditional porous separator. The gelled electrolyte becomes the catalyst that enhances the electrical conductivity. Li-polymer offers slightly higher specific energy and can be made thinner than conventional Li-ion, but the manufacturing cost increases by 10–30 percent. Despite the cost disadvantage, the market share of Li-polymer is growing.
