After reading your post again I see can see where u might be confused with my answer. When referring to adaptors, the first designation stated will be the batteries threads. Which, in the istick's case, would be 510 ( the internal threads, M7 x 0.50mm ) . The second designation stated will be your intended threads you want to screw your clearomizer, etc. onto.
Well, they do in fact make a 510 to 510 adapter, but, you will not have the optional ego threads to screw the beauty ring on the outside of the adapter (which is ego threaded with outer threads).
To sum it it up, The 510 to ego adapter has one thread screwing into the istick and actually two different types of threads that u can screw onto with various clearomizers, tanks, beauty rings etc. etc.....

FYI- Lipo looks like this
That's the usual form factor for Lipo batteries (flat/square) which is why my assumption was that the batteries in the istick was LiIon. I've never seen cylindrical Lipo batteries before.
That's crazy! I guess you would have to cut ( Dremel cutting wheel ) the native one out and its housing to replace it.
Simple solution, get an adapter to protect the threads, and still allow tank support.....510 to eGo Adapter with Well

That is the Beauty of Lipo Batteries.
You can make them in about Any Shape you want. Flat. Rectangular. Triangular. Irregular. Or even, Cylindrical.
I like the Concept of an iStick and an iStick Plus.
The iStick Plus has All the Additional Features that have been Mentioned. Adjustable 510 Pin, Removable Battery, Centered Connector, Longer Body. And of course, a Higher Price.
And the iStick stays at it is.

Since I been using the 'stick exclusively with mini nautiluses, I just leave the base in when filling them. I simply hold the mini's base on the 'stick with my thumb ( just above the firing button where it hangs out a tad) while upside-down, and unscrew, thus protecting the

Oh good idea....I tried with the adapter but just love the look of the flush mount.....even if I did this half the time it would save wear and tear on the connection. When switching tanks I'm also just very gentle...haven't had any issues so far and couldn't even begin to count the number of times I've taken tanks on/off....I drain the juice out of those minis pretty quickly

I also find it makes filling them quicker as you're eliminating a step and don't have to look for a place to set your minis base down when you're out and about.

Same here. I change tanks numerous times every day and no weakening of the thread yet in 2 weeks. I also lubed the threads which makes it super smooth and easy to feel the top thread while screwing the tank.
Got pink/red and blue ones to go with the original silver. One thing I noticed is that the buttons on the two new ones feel a bit stiffer and less clicky than on the first.
I did get occasional mis-fires with the original, I wonder if the button change is in response to that issue?
No issues with the treading on any of them, they feel smooth and seem to be accurately machined

Yes, I had to back down from 4.3 to 3.5 volts to get the same flavor and vapor I had on the mvp.

The silver one I ordered from evape.us on Wednesday just arrived today. Ordered on 15th, shipped on 16th, and arrived on 18th; looks even better than the black one.
