I wonder about that folding hinge, if people will accidentally press the release button. Also when folded with a wider tank, will it hit the fire button?
Not too big an issue. If you're folding the atomizer down you aren't going to be firing it so just lock the fire button first.

Who wants the added height.

I'd rather not have the added height, but the ability to fold the atomizer down intrigues me. I often slip the istick into my jeans (or khakis) pocket and like that ability. Easier to reach in and take out versus just grabbing it by the drip tip, which is what I do now. Also worried sometimes when I bend down (or when playing pool) that I'm putting pressure on the tank/drip tip. This would seem to eliminate that.

Makes the atomizer fold down next to the Istick for a more compact device while carrying. Saves wear and tear on the 510 connector.

Press the latch and the atomizer flips to cover the display. When you want to use it, flip it back up and the latch catches and you can vape.

Interesting. Make an already compact setup even more compact!

Would anyone please be so kind and post a picture of the iStick with an Orchid RBA on it? I tried the thread search function but it didn't produce any results. Thank you in advance...

I have an Orchid v4 being shipped as we speak. Plan to build it for the iStick, so I will post some pics when I get it if someone doesn't beat me to it!

Same here. This past Sunday I bent over and severely skewed a tank on it. Had to break out the rubber mallet to straighten it out. Almost had to trash it already.

I like the folding idea for carrying in a pants pocket, but I would go one step further and attach the topper to the battery at the far end to avoid torquing the connection. Probably impossible to manufacture something that would fit more than a few toppers, but a strong rubber band would probably work.

I'm using Aspire K1 clearos with my iStick, using ego to 510 adapters to attach them. I'm having problems with my device constantly saying it's shorted or atomizer low. I've tried pulling up the 510 connection on the device but once I screw it in, the ohm reading only appears shortly in a very specific position but it's also very loose and wobbly. If I tighten it down more, I get the shorted or low reading. I've tried different coils and attaching them to other PVs and it does not happen on them. It also seems like one of the adapters work fine but the other two are very finicky. I've tried switching adapters with different clearos and it appears that the same two adapters are causing the problems. Any way to fix this? It's starting to annoy me, seems like it wasn't really happening at first and moreso now.

I put an O-ring on the underside of my adapter, only way that I could get it to work.

Though I like my Istick, I do think the threads are crappy. I am using the adapter due to many of my tanks not making contact, also I am trying to not "screw" or "unscrew" toppers directly to my Istick, thus keeping the threads from becoming more crappy than they already are.

Great device, but I do believe unless they correct the threads (I am okay with the output) I will buy another MVP instead of another Istick.

Finally, my Silo Lite tank and BVC coils are really rocking on the iStick. Initially I had issues with my Silo Lite tank flooding and spitting. I tried everything and almost gave up on it. I was getting more juice in my mouth than vapor. I nearly used a whole bottle of juice trying to figure it out. It appears I was crushing the chimney o ring too hard causing most of my problems. I lifted the o ring and screwed the base back on with less force and like magic a perfect vape! :) Since I have been able to refill and repeat with no other issues I am now a happy vaper! :D My Protank Mini 3 simply can't produce the same flavor and vapor the Silo Lite and BVC can produce! So this is what I have been missing.

I also ordered a Nautilus Mini for my iStick. I was strongly considering a Kayfun, however, the flavor with the Silo Lite and BVC coil is great. Though the Kayfun may provide even more flavor they seem to come at the cost of a "lot" more juice usage. I would have bought another Silo Lite but I wanted to see what everyone raves about concerning the Nautilus and Mini tanks.

I have noticed that the BVC does like more watts than I was using. I am currently at 3.5 Leaf Volts and 7.5 Leaf Watts and happily vaping like a mini fog machine! :vapor:

I am still considering buying my gf one so she can have a smaller device than the MVP she uses right now... just waiting for more stock to be around in the states. :D

    Happy Vaping :vapor:

If you get one definitely get the Aspire BVC (not Aspire Nautilus BVC) coils. They make all the difference in the world. Phil Busardo posted a video today where he re-reviewed the Silo Tank, big brother to the lite. In his initial review he really didn't like the Silo tank with the BDC coils.

In the video Phil also reviewed a new MOD from Beyond Vape called the Solara. It was interesting because, though he liked it overall, one thing he didn't like was it's overall size. He used an iStick as an example. The Solara looks like a bigger version of an iStick. You would bet the same design team worked on both.

I love seeing the size comparison to the iStick. Hope that trend continues. :toast:

I think the Wapari was one of the first to come up with the basic design -- and it is dreamy, expensive and impossible to get.

    Here's one I've swooned over:
