Could be if your topper was on too tight pressing the pin down on the battery to much was causing the electronics to go a little screwy ??

OK, I ought I would provide a "Funny Friday" for everyone. I decided to change over to one of my Kanger tanks to try a different flavor. I was watching a movie and it needed refilled. I refilled it and the movie was getting good. Wait for it...........(dramatic pause).........So I screwed the tank back on the iStick and it didn't vape. I looked at the iStick and it said "no atomizer". Then I noticed juice on my hand.
You guessed it. I didn't put the atomizer back into the tank. (Insert Laugh Track Here).
How did I realize this you ask? I unscrewed the tank to see what the problem was and the juice ran out. It was a pretty funny moment. Fortunately the 510 to eGO adapter kept things from getting out of control. A few paper towels and Qtips and alcohol and it was all cleaned up. This was a first for me and pretty funny. Glad it didn't short anything out. All is working well again.
So there is your "Funny Friday!"

It could be a combination of both. I used to get "Blackberry Thumb" and occasionally had to use my opposite hand to pop my thumb back in place. I switched to iPhone and all is well
. I noticed the buttons on my 3rd iStick were much more firm than my first two, but it's beginning to loosen up.
Bling is always good when it's Kat Bling.
So far I'm on day 25 with the same 1.8 ohm BVC mini naughty coil .......Wow!.....I did have to up it 4 eleaf volts though to keep the same vapor production. Also, day 36 and I'm still getting nearly 2 full days on the 'sticks' battery life......Ain't life Grand!?

That's some-what common for me, especially when changing tanks with big differences in resistance. It probably mis-read your atty and adjusted the power to the iSticks low-limit.
For me it's usually the opposite: it hits the high-limit and turns my power down

Yea, the PAUSE button saved me. I should have hit it a few minutes earlier!
I made a mental note for next time!
I always adjust in .5 increments. I can't tell much difference going by .1 on my devices.
Remember that these devices we are using are little computers. Just like our phones, tablets and laptop/dektop computers, rebooting is helpful once-in-a-while. I turn my iStick off every night as I charge it...

Hehehe... It even works on chargers. When I used eGo-class batteries and the charger would start acting funny, I used to reboot it--unplug everything, including the wall adapter, wait a few seconds, plug it all back together and everything was well again. Promise.
.5 watts is almost exactly .1 volts. Changing by smaller increments makes no noticeable difference.

I doubt that eleaf is an ISO 9000 certified company
ISO certification is a joke. A manufacturer can make a garbage product but as long as their process is consistent with properly documented procedures they can obtain ISO certification. It's nothing more than a garbage paper chase of the approved documents being in place. I was an internal auditor for many years with a former employer.
All my working life I have encountered people that were either mechanically inclined or not. The latter group, in my experience, more often than not think tighter is better. They'll apply the gorilla grip to any threaded connection of any sort.
The more mechanically inclined will be knowledgeable and/or intuitive enough to apply only the torque needed to accomplish the task at hand. The more mechanically inclined person will exercise care to avoid cross threading knowing full well what that can lead to. They will exercise even more care when the threads are known to be fragile.
If a topper doesn't make electrical contact with a pv there's a reason. The solution is many if not most times not lack of torque in the mechanical connection.
But the less mechanically inclined will always continue to muddle along and blame the device rather than their own ineptitude and impatience.

A little over 3 mills a day. I mix my juice to a 50/50 blend with hazelnut flavor and some sweetener.
This kind of commentary serves no purpose unless you are simply looking for an emotional response. There is a diagnosis for that.
Yes, human error can be the culprit. However, it does not explain the volume of identical issues with a particular model of device. A few here or there, that's one thing. But if it's widespread, there's a pattern. I'm not saying it's that, only it could be that. So whether or not it is human error or bad milling/machine work (Chinese manufacturing...go figure), there have been enough complaints by people who have not had the problem with other devices to warrant acknowledging the possibility of a manufacturing defect or poor materials. Talking down to people doesn't help them.
Back on point...the iStick is awesome! Battery life is great, steady as a rock. This thing works wonders with a Nautilus and I'm still stunned how well it cooks at such a small size. I bought 2 but think I'll get a couple more to leave in my truck. Plug that baby right into my Microsoft Sync on my F150 and always be ready on the go. Sweeeet.
