I'm having problems with both of my Isticks. You can't tighten up the tank or reads .o . If I loosen the tank it reads ohms and fires. I was going to buy another istick but at this point waiting for a better version to come out.......
Mine did the same thing. I took an o-ring and put it on a 510 to eGo adapter, on the side that screws into the istick, and that fixed my problem.
I like the istick, but I won't buy another until the few issues it has are fixed.
What size o ring did you get ? I don't want to pull out the center pin in case eleaf forgot to solder . Can I just push o ring over center pin ?
Thanks
Invited a few vaping friends over tonight, all but one using iSticks. The garage turned quite cloudy at times
Counted 1 Nautilus, 1 Silo, and 2 Naughty minis, all running BVCs.

Circuit Board Spacer (for some reason, links to MV don't work anymore on ECF).
Has anyone here tried to use MadVapes' circuit board spacers to fix iStick's connectivity problems?

I've used them successfully on my MVP2 with a few atties that wouldn't make contact.
It seems like that would be a solution for some, but it also seems that the silicone gunk around the center pin may just be sloppy on some, or, the topper center pin pushes the istick to the side causing the short. I thought about ordering some of those, but it doesn't seem to be a distance issue, but rather force on the pin causing a short.
My 2 are working fine so I'll deal with it when it becomes a problem.
Yea the istick is a litte finicky with that ego adapter, I get readings all over the place with my mini protanks. Just for the heck of it I put some of my old ce4s on there and it didn't even read them. Luckily for me I'm using a lemo right now which is 510 threaded.
I wonder if there is another 510 to ego adapter you can get that would work better, I see ego to 510 adapters everywhere, but haven't seen many 510 to egos.

Having tried many different Clearomizers and CartoTanks (I don't have the time/energy to even consider Rebuildables/Mech Mods)...what impressed me most when I got my (first) Nauty with BVC's was the amount of vapor I got. It was the first time I really got the same amount of "smoke" that I had become accustomed to with my (previously) beloved analogs.
Although I completely enjoy my Nauty's (with 1.8Ω coils) at 10-12 Watts on my iStick at home...when I go out to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I jack the iStick down to 8-9 Watts to get a more "socially acceptable" amount of vapor.
Things to try:

Can somebody tell me where I should buy the istick from? I was about to pull the trigger at vapingcheap.com because the $32 price and I need to get and MVP 2 for a friend and they have both so I could save on shipping. The problem is that i read the reviews for them and they were hit and miss to say the least. Can anybody recommend a good place to get authentic Mvps and isticks at a reasonable price? Thanks for the help...
They carry both for a reasonable price--free shipping over $50, free priority over $100.
