I just ordered the istick and an Igo w. I've been vaping for over two years but never done any rebuilding so I asked about wire recommendations in the rba section but it doesn't look too active right now, could anybody make a wire recomendation for a beginner?

I've had a seller do this before. Just a little prep work being done. They created the shipping labels and prepared the packaging so when they do get them in stock, they can just insert, seal, and ship.

Is the in-stock price the same as you paid for a pre-order? When I purchased mine, the pre-order was $30.99 and the in stock one was $35.99. The $5 premium was worth it for me because my MVP was really starting to act funny.

The in-stock price is a dollar more than I paid with pre-order. I understand with pre-orders you play the waiting game, so I was prepared to wait, but with no movement on the tracking number and the new listing giving a quicker estimated delivery date than mine, it just irritated me. I understand it takes a day or so sometimes for USPS to show updates, but its been 6 days since they sent my shipping notice email.

I emailed them today and according to the rep they actually shipped it out Friday. Maybe its just USPS lagging on their tracking site. Maybe all the istick orders have crashed their system :p

On a side note, all the mini nautilus talk & pictures in this thread won me over, I now have a mini naughty on the way. At this rate it will probably arrive before my isticks...

Figured out something interesting over the last few days. I had been complaining of my terrible battery life compared to what most of you all are getting. I was getting about 8 hrs max here recently. I also have been slowly reducing my nicotine level. When I received my istick I was down to 2mg and I do diy so I finally took it down to 0 MG . I Wasn't getting the same satisfaction and I have to pay smoker rates on my insurance premiums anyway so I said the heck with it and went back up to 5mg here the last few days. Well since that move my battery life is now almost double. As I had stated hundreds and hundreds of post back I always seem to take a 8 to 10 second draw but I was doing it often. I'm probably still doing long draws but not near as often because I'm getting my nic fix now and I can finally make it thru a full day on one overnight charge. Just thought I'd share this in case someone else may have a similar experience with their battery.

Nice man, 5mg is almost there. I'm transitioning from 18mg to 12mg slowly over the next few weeks. I really want to get to where you are sometime next year. I figure the final few mg will be the most difficult, your experience helps me to be mentally prepared.

To be fair, of the thousands of Isticks out there, the problem comes up in a very small percentage. Even if it lasts me only a few months, it's well worth the price, IMO.

No, based on the design, you will likely run into the problem if you use several different tanks with different 510 pin depths like I do. If you primarily use one tank on your istick, I don't think you'll ever have a problem.

Pretty sure I saw an O-ring under the pin as well when I inserted the new one in there. Dunno where people are getting this caulking thing from. I didn't even take the old one out.

it is on the bottom side of the 510, my first impression of the goop was a cheap and easy method to seal up the 510 from possible juice leaks. Either way, the 510 of the Istick leaves a bit to be desired.

I would use 30 ga or even 32 ga, to be able to build a dual coil and remain above the 1.0Ω limit on the iStick.

Thanks, any particular place that you buy yours and what grade of kanthal? And wick materials?
I got both from Amazon myself, cost was around $15 shipped with prime membership.

Be careful with the igo, I ordered 3 of the Igo-W RBAs from fast tech ( the ~$5 ones) and they won't read on my iStick and won't even thread in to the 510 threads in the top cap, just in the ego adapter. It reads fine on my iTaste VV and the ohm meter, so I suspect it's a combination of poor contact in the ego adapter and questionable threads in the top cap. And frankly I'm babying anything on the iStick, since I really am quite fond of it.

I'm planning on getting mech mod in a few weeks anyway so I can play more with my RDAs at that point.

I've taken 3 Isticks apart thus far, and all of them have a silicon insulator, it is crap, but it is present. The silicon goop is not all there is to the 510 center pin insulator.

A little chewed up, but clearly present.

That explains alot.

I ordered my istick from sweet vapes on wednesday, got it on satuday. I am in love!

I bought my 1st one from ecig (dot) com. At the time they were having a sale so it only cost me $18. That was w/O charger.
My 2nd came from D&D Vapor (all colors in stock when I checked back Sat). It shipped right away but USPS took their sweet time with it.

[OAN] Can anyone tell me what this cleoro is? I cant get the pic any bigger so I linked it.
