anyone that's using a nautilus mini with the istick. How long did the coil that came with the mini last for you? I feel like there's a loss of flavor and I'm trying to decide if its just this juice or the coil. I got it on Saturday and have been using it consistently aside from when its charging. I vape about 6ml a day. Changing of coils is a new thing to me, so I'm not sure how long they typically go for.

Mine that came with the mini at 1.8ohm lasted 10 days, with about 30ml of light colored juice through it.

If you are vaping the same juice and vaping 6 mls a day you might have vape tongue (can not taste your juice) I am not familiar with the Nautilis but that is awful quick for a coil to expire. What? 3 days. This is more of a question for the Nautilis thread if you do not get an answer here

I also have been slowly reducing my nicotine level. When I received my istick I was down to 2mg and I do diy so I finally took it down to 0 MG.

For me...since I'm 69 yo and have a family history of Alzheimer's...I plan on staying at my "confortable-chain-vaping" level (12 mg.)...since nicotine is the only substance found (so far) to prevent/delay the onset of Alzheimer's/senile dementia. :headbang:

Love the istick with my nautilus mini! Gives me that little bit more that the MVP2 couldn't give.

Even if it didn't have more mAh, Watts, etc....after trying the iStick my MVP2 now feels like a brick!

Can somebody tell me how long to charge this thing? I burnt up my MVP by charging too long.

Leave ON or turn OFF => plug in => will automatically quit charging and screen go blank after (for me) 2-2½ hours.

I haven't been using the same juice. I go back and forth between a few. Vape tongue would be an issue with tasting all juices wouldn't it? I was vaping strawberry cake this morning with my spinner 2 and all was well. It just seems this juice(karma cream) is off compared to what it has been.

May I ask which coils you're using. Most people rave about the BVC but they do nothing for me. I've been sticking with BDC but no matter which coil I used, flavor is definitely muted in my Nautilus & the vape is extremely harsh; even at the iSticks lowest settings.

Using the Nautilus on anything other than the iStick, 1 coil last me 2-3 weeks with varying juices.

the coils really just depends....i vape really dark juices at about 50/50 coils will only really last me, maybe a week two if lucky......

the darker the juice, the higher the vg....typically the shorter the coil life

switching out flavors a lot, you could have just mixed too many flavors together and basically made it bland now (done that a few times...)
or as suggested you could also have vapors tongue

you could try upping your watts or volts to see if that doesn't help a bit....rule of thumb what ever the resistance of the atty is add 2 to equal volts
so if atty is a 1.8oHm then you'd want your volts around 3.8......higher than 4.6 and you risk possibly burning the wick

BVC. Honestly I'm thinking it's just me and my lack of water consumption this morning.

Exactly right.

I've been running the same 4 coils (switching every week) since I bought both Naut Minis (both on the iStick) a month ago.

Go to youtubee and look up cleaning and dry-burning nautilus bvc. Just get into a rotation. I resurrected 2 coils I'd set aside as spent by doing this. They'll last much longer than most folks claim if you do this.

Btw, the wicking material in the BVCs is ceramic. If you get the coils hot enough to burn the wick in these then something is wrong.

The BVC coils which came with my mini were not very good. I bought a new pack from a vendor who seems to sell a lot of coils and the first one out of the pack was much better than the ones which came with my mini. Maybe it was just luck of the draw but the coils which came with my mini wouldn't absorb the juice properly even though I primed it first. I was always having to take slow long slow drags without pushing the fire button. Burnt hits and just a mess. When they would work the flavor and vapor was good.

Now this new coil is simply perfect. I can't yet speak to longevity of the new pack of coils but the ones that came with my mini were beyond worthless in less than a week. Based on how the new coil is working and the fact that I also use the non nautilus BVC coils in a different tank, I expect to get two weeks to a month.

BTW I am using 50/50 juice.

Yup 3.8v is where I'm always at. Anything higher and it's harsh. I vape 30 vg/70pg and I honestly don't think I even own one dark juice. I've decided it's just me and my lack of water this morning. By now I've usually drank several bottles of water. I've been preoccupied all morning and haven't. Not as bad now that I've had some water.

Same here, the only cure I found was moving to tanks with higher resistance coils. Protank 2 with a 2.8 ohm coil works better for me.

My mom has smoked most of my life and nicotine did not prevent or delay her Alzheimers.

Smoking doesn't really have anything to do with it (although, obviously there's nicotine involved), and can actually have the opposite effect.

The relationship between nicotine and Alzheimers is based on a very small study done in 2012 of 80 people. They used nicotine patches and some of the people showed a slowing of onset Alzheimers when using the patches. Most agree that the small sample size of the study is not proof of the relationship either way.

How did you get the Danco O ring on ?? I have 2 sticks so while one is charging I can use the other .............

Used a small flathead screwdriver to work the pin up. It did take a while to gradually get it out. The pin does not come all the way out. Then you have to work the O-ring on. Start with getting half of it under the pin on one side, hold it there with the screwdriver, then use some thin tweezers and stretch the ring over and under the other side. This whole process probably took me 20-30 minutes while watching TV.

I think the repair works better on that istick than the MVP. I'm able to screw down my ego adapter all the way. Every tank I've put on it has fired since then. Do at your own risk though, as someone on this thread managed to break theirs doing this. I'm not an advanced user or anything though. Just a regular old Joe.

I've received a message from ecig and they have sent me a return label. So all I need to do now is print and ship and wait for a replacement. For those of you that do not know, my 510 quit working after just one day of use. So far I have to say my experience with ecig dot com has been pleasurable.

Can somebody tell me where I should buy the istick from? I was about to pull the trigger at vapingcheap.com because the $32 price and I need to get and MVP 2 for a friend and they have both so I could save on shipping. The problem is that i read the reviews for them and they were hit and miss to say the least. Can anybody recommend a good place to get authentic Mvps and isticks at a reasonable price? Thanks for the help...

Hey there, I'm looking to get rid of an MVP and VV that were only used for about a month! PM me if your interested, I would like to give them away to someone who wants to start vaping but does not have the necessary means.
