I agree, I think the 3.1 has superior air flow than the lite or lite+. Also have a Lemo that I wanted to like, but I'm just not feelin' it.

I have 3 versions of KF's and they're all pretty similar in air flow. My 3.1 had a little metal shaving in the air flow hole but after clearing it, it doesn't whistle.

Interestingly, I got an Infinite KFL+ v2 and it has a smaller air hole than my EHPro KFL+ (1.5mm vs 2mm). Both draw the same since the choke point is the center pin.

picked up a magma clone and wrapped a microcoil to 1.7ohm. i might try building it a little lower around 1.3 ohm so it doesn't take so long to heat up

this thing is awesome. only things i don't like is that you have to screw the cap on and off and the posts have super small holes. It would be tough to do a dual coil with 28awg. I like the pull off caps with orings better. no leaking, tons of airflow adjustments, and its not obnoxiously large on the tiny istick.

Nice to see those - don't look as big as I thought ..in fact, not big at all - I seem to be always filling my standard size ones!
I must try one! :)

I have decided to wait for Evolv's release of their new 25w DNA. Hopefully it will be configured similarly to the DNA 40D. If the DNA 40D sells for $60, the 25w module should be $40. That might be the perfect fit for my iStick...

Welcome to the Club!....:)

That's precisely my case, but for my own Frankenstein-Fasttech's clon of the Hana Modz.... I purchased it being really aware of its obvious flaws, and I started to correct them as far as they surfaced, mostly broking things of rendering the mod unusable. the 510, the back plate screws, and now the chip. It got burnt without warning (and putting the battery in eternal short-circuit!)....

Now I've got the perfect excuse to wait to a decent chip. It'll be the DNA25 or some YihieCigar. My hands feel the need of drilling some aluminium.....ninja.gif

I would consider one of the YiHiEcigar modules. But the only one I can find for sale is the sx350 which is overpowered has the wrong form factor for the iStick. I can find the DNA 30D for $40 online. Ideally, I'd like the chipset to be consistently capable of down to at least 3.3v. If I could find an authentic DNA 20D board <$30, I could live with it.

Nice! How did u keep it from leaking? Each time I tilt my Magma clone, some of the juices oozes out the air hole...

I've had a bit of luck as a result of my screw up. I ordered Aspire BVC heads from M.F.S. at 40% off (thanks Ryan). When they arrived I saw my mistake, not Nautilus. Then it dawned on me that I have an Aspire Vivi Nova that uses the BDC heads and now these. Happy to report they have been vaping great on the iStick, just a slight gurgling. No more burnt hits! YEA! Not sure why the Nautilus started "burning" on me. I did lower my watts from 9 to 7, same juice. I'm a happy Sticker again! :D

I made the exact same mistake a while back. Any Aspire Vivi Nova will work with these?

Another option is to get one of these--if you own a ProTank or a Davide:

BDC to Protank Adapter - Kidney Puncher

See this post here--you can get an adapter that will let you use (non-Nautilus) BDC and BVC coils in ProTanks and Davides. But not Nautilus coils. :(
