Lipo packs are generally listed as 300 cycles. Using every day and charging every day should give a year or so. More likely some other part will fail first.

Thank you so much for answering my question. With the Cyber Monday sale I can score one for about $37, which seems like a great deal. I may just take the punge and buy it. I'm not a heavy vaper any more. It's mostly in the evenings when I'm relaxing, or when I'm in the car. devices are so funny. I still have the Silver Bullet I bought four years ago. It works pretty darn well. My dad had one and he was having to send it back to AltSmoke about once every couple of months to have the firing connections repaired. And I had a eGo battery that lasted a couple of months, and I have one that's three years old and still going strong.

Thank you, thank you! I'm honestly nervous to start using it....I've done a ton of research, watched so many videos, but I still am scared to mess something up haha. I gotta just dive in and fill it with that free cherry crush they sent me!

Screw the topper on carefully, don't over-tighten, give the juice a minute to soak the wick good, Set the power low to start, Vape!

Woo Hoo! I love my Istick and naut mini. I have been very happy with Evape.us quick shipping all the time! However I didn't like any of their ejuices, but that's just me.

I started vaping not quite 4 years ago with a Joye 510 cigalike, atomizer and cartridge and you're starting out with an iStick and Nautilus Mini! Can't help but wonder where we'll be in 4 years from now--it's crazy how far things have come in such a short time. You're gonna love it Nibs91

I did something similar and picked up two of the Smok Zmax Mini's from ecigsupply.com for $13.49 each shipped. The Sigelei is a nicer version with the wider top cap and the OLED display (versus the outdated LED on the Smok); I wish I'd found that one instead. The saving grace for the Smok version is that the 18650 extension tubes are readily available and I picked up a couple (they apparently don't fit the Sigelei version from what I've read here on ECF). I debated getting another iStick but just couldn't bring myself to do it...the ZMAX's do RMS and Mean so they are great little inexpensive alternatives to the iStick if you happen to already have the requisite batteries. I've found that I don't vape over 15 watts on an APV, so these should last me until the iStick v2 makes its appearance. Sadly, my iStick is now sitting in a drawer.

Just a little FYI for you guys that got the segelei Z-Max mini.......to extend the length for an 18650 battery.......VAMO V3 extension tube screw on perfectly!! I have one since March and loved the size but hated the battery life, so a little research and the help of a friend who has a Vamo v3 (I checked before I ordered) I tried it!!! Perfect fit. Ordered mine from ecigimpressions. AND......and as I side note if you can get your hands on a Kick ring you can use 18490/18500 batteries too. I have three kick rings and two fit.

Congrats on starting out vaping. You might want to get an air flow control device to protect the 510 threading. They seem to be less than optimal on some devices. This one has a low profile and doesn't interfere to much with the stealthy look.

I have run into the dreaded 510 connection issue. Gotta say I'm unhappy with this, but I intend to fix it. Trying. OT to let this taint my iStick love. Can't say this encourages me to want another one. Less than a week and this happens? My MVP lasted longer and all my other mods/mechs have adjustable pins. Funny, I used to be annoyed at having to adjust the pins, but I'll take that over this o-ring fail.

I had that feeling with their last sale, but they did come through, albeit with some slow shipping. I'm not really upset with this since I'll just put the funds to the Vaporshark deal. But if I had really had my heart set on an iStick and missed out on a good deal somewhere else thinking I was getting this one, then I'd be really ticked off.

Money burns a hole in my pocket & as much as I want to get the VS rDNA 40, I *think* I'm going to wait a bit. Too many people getting the dreaded screen glitch. I'm sure there are plenty of happy owners but the happy ones aren't as vocal as those having issues.

I believe the iStick came with one of these.

There has been issues with the threads on the iStick so people have been using the Airflow Controller for 510 to protect them. You can use the 510-ego adapter included in your kit to do the same thing (use the mini's beauty ring also to make it look better). The Airflow Controller for 510 is better because it has a lower profile(there is pics of it with on an iSick in this thread somewhere). I didn't want to chance the thread problems so I've been using the 510-ego with a Protank and beauty ring and it looks fine.

Eleaf also have a bendable adapter with a spring loaded 510 http://sweet-vapes.com/eleaf-istick-bending-adapter.html . On that subject has anyone bought one of those and how are they?

I still haven't had a thread problem on either of my isticks. It is something to be aware of, which is why I said to screw it on carefully and not to over-tighten. I sure wouldn't want the extra height if my threads are OK.

I quit looking for deals for the following reasons.

- I only have one flavor - Ahlusion JG blend - that tastes good at the lowest rating.
- I have a stock of 1.8 and 2.2Ω coils that do well for my stronger (1.8Ω) flavors and lighter (2.2Ω) flavors on any other device. I have a few 2.4-2.6Ω coils - one of which can get some, but not full, flavor even on my other stronger flavors on the iStick. With 1.8 and 2.2Ω coils, all my other flavors are washed out on the iStick (although not burnt at the lowest level).
- I have no desire to find other flavors that might work well on the iStick as it currently exists.
- I have the 'have to loosen' the clearo on both the adapter and regular 510 connection in order not to get a 'atomizer low' or 'atomizer short' message - using an aerotank mini which works well on all other devices.

It was a chance worth taking at $17 but not at even $25 or greater... for me. I understand others have other considerations and it might be great for them at $30.

Too many people? I would guess that's a small percentage that are getting screen glitches. Of those, they're getting replacements within a week w/o having to pay for postage.

I've had mine for 4 days now and I've been only using the VS since. I've tried everything I could to get the screen to glitch and it just won't. Most of the people that have good units don't come looking for a forum to praise a device whereas if you have a problem, they'll shout it from every mountain top. With the cyber monday deal of $152, it's a steal. I saw the deal before I got my rDNA and was a bit disappointed but now that I've had it for 4 days, it really doesn't bother me. That's how good I think the rDNA is.

Or just sit on the sidelines and keep waiting.

Was there something in particular about MY feelings that caused you to get so defensive?
Just sit on the sideline & keep waiting? I may get it; I may not. I don't have to buy something simply b/c it's $152- I've spent way more than that on devices. It is MY choice to wait no matter how great you think the device is.

I quit looking for deals for the following reasons.

I quit b/c what's generally the *must have/s* for others were meh once I got it.
That's probably why I've got so much stuff relegated to the junk drawer.

All my devices have a different flavor & I find my Istick performs best for me with my strawberry (dessert) flavored juices. Everything else tastes muted.
