I know what you mean--I don't usually watch chat videos, unless I happen to like the people doing the chatting... :D

Anyway, there was little there we didn't already know. My take on the dna 40 ATM--to expensive for me to be an early adopter. The only dna 40 battery I kinda like right now is the VS rDNA, but that and a pack or Kanger nickel coils is a $200 investment. I"ll wait. I need to see if those Kanger coil heads are serviceable at all--can they be opened, cleaned, rebuilt? I have a feeling that we'll be seeing more DNA 40 mods on the market in 2015 and the prices will come down.

In the meantime, I have enough perfectly good toys to play with (or to use up :)) before I switch to DNA 40 technology.

I couldn't agree more about lengthy blah blah blah vape yakking videos where they don't get actually into any substance during the first half hour like some daily or weekly web casts. I looked at the DNA models and as usual found them to be overpriced as a rule as well as a number of other mods in just the last few months alone. Upon Black Friday I made the move to invest however in several updated items of interest while the prices were down!

Here I already have two mod stands full plus where to put the new stuff still coming in?! Just got the ZNA 50 today, Smok BEC Pro 50w coming early next week, and two others ordered from Fasttech one with four batteries shipped flat rate type registered while the last will be in about a week from now. Well the 20w Vamo Fire wood bodied APV and 30w DovPo E-LVT in brown mentioned before looked too good! to resist!!

I bet you they were all made in the same factory--just different colors... :)

Said so earlier! They often sell the same things under different retail brand names. The manufacturer simplies the retailers while the retailers make their own brand name popular.

A bit off topic but I got turned on to "Liam Lynch's Lynchland" Youtube channel while watching a video on Suck Your Mods channel . The guy does some hilarious vape videos as "RavenVapesReview". Check out the some vaping history with the "TAT-1" mod at 4min
I hope he starts doing more vaping videos!

Hey if it's funny it wlll likely hold your interest a bit longer then simply hearing two regulars yapping away and having technical difficulties while the actual guest sits in the shadow for a half an hour like one series someone pointed me at. I had to tel that person I would have to catch the accent a little bit more since we speak two different languages at the same time we speak the one! That was VT Talk or something with a similar sounding name being a UK web cast series when going to watch what was supposed to be a great interview by a long time vaping talk show host. Someone was sharting the YouTube post for a June episode.

Now speaking about being a little? off topic I thought I would pass this one along since this is the time of year to be.... :offtopic::toast:  You'll love this one!

I feel you on the toys.....I have enough to play with but then something new comes out. LOL

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

They are the same exact thing but simply have smart 20 stamped on them and more colors to choose from. Those were special ordered under the other brand name likely by a large wholesaler or discount site to blow out cheaply in larger numbers then charging full retail prices. They do that often with anything simply to make a fasf buck! especially during the holiday shopping period when you see the largest volume of business.

This might be the single greatest youtube video I've ever seen....I'm in shock. Is he a character? This is unreal! It's worth watching the whole thing guys.

It's a character--very funny one. He's a cool dude-- directed Weird Al" Yankovic - First World Problems video and Sarah Silverman's "We Are Miracles" HBO special and a bunch of other stuff--check out his IMDB page. Really hope he does some more "vaping review" videos. There's certainly some great fodder for humor/satire in the vaping world today!

I've noticed today that when you click the button on iStick, it produces a very low sound, kinda like buzzing. Did anyone else notice that?

Put the iStick next to your ear, press the button (with an atomiser on it, of course) and listen.

What you are most likely hearing is the coil or coils heating up inside the tank or clearomizer being used as it generally takes a second or two to allow the ejuice in the coil or atomizer to heat. Often you will also hear a cracking popping sound as well like the ejuice is spurtering a bit when being turned from liquid to vapor.

I got my last "iStick" from FastTech...but I got their Smart-20 "clone" for $26.30 (with Adapter and USB cord)(mainly because of more color choices).

So far (2 weeks) I have found NO differences between it and my other 3 "real" iSticks.

Found 7 smart-20 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Thanks for passing this on. I ordered one of the Smart-20's tonight for myself. Purple with blue splashes! Good price and since you haven't had any trouble, I figured why not?!?! After the ecig fiasco, I'm just looking for a 3rd one cheap.

Got my Vape Mail today from VAPORKINGS, a blue istick full kit @ $30.00. with fast shipping ! I had two already from Vapenw since back in Sept. I noticed on this one that the 510 threading is much better than the old ones I have. My mini naughty screws in nice and tight from start to finish with zero wobble. I'm wondering if this is a new and improved or I just got Lucky!.....only time will tell:)

In on my second day with a ZNA50.... You are going to love it. It really goes through batteries at 40-50 watts though... You may want to think about some 3400 mahs for it.

Just curios, but does that leather case also cover the bottom of the istick?

Thanks Drysprocket, that's freaking hilarious. I may have to watch the others. I don't know what was funnier, the 8 years or the turkey baster. The silver bullet dated it. I'm surprised I have never seen him before.

I suspect the first two you bought back in Sept. were from an early batch when they were first coming out and people may have complained about sloppy connectors. Or the QC Dept. started noticing that when inspecting them coming fresh off of the assembly line. Not one shake, rattle, or roll around with either of the two here so far.

In on my second day with a ZNA50.... You are going to love it. It really goes through batteries at 40-50 watts though... You may want to think about some 3400 mahs for it.

I'm using 3400mah high drain batteries I had to get for the VTR since Innokin's own product advised that. I've been using them on the 20w Vamo V6 as well as while I have some UltraFire 3.7 5000mah batteries I keep in the V5 and a pair of 3-15w Smok ACEs.

I plan to be grabbing up some more however for the other Smok BEC Pro 50w mod, the Vamo Fire 20w due in a week or so, and later on the 30w E-LVT that also takes 18650s. The Smok Guardian E-Pipe coming sometime will have the 1200mah flat top HD 18350s there as well as in the first Guardian mech mod I piicked up a week ago onsale.

The one thing I have noticed already is that I have to keep menthol flavors down to about 20w or so while the berry blends and other coffee flavors tried out vape smooth at 30w! It's the same running a Nautilus on the Vamo or VTR where some vape well in Smok Tumblers at 7w while 10w for some others. The ejuice itself plays a large role as well as the combination of tank and mod. If you have 30/70 you put out a cloud while many at 70/30 struggle.

Hey gerrymi--how long did it take to get your FastTech order?

I got an istick from fast tech - this time i used the extra shipping option for $2 ( think it depends on where your getting it sent as what options there are ) this time it took 11 days to get to me around 4-5 days quicker than normal.

So if its an option - some carriers won't carry batteries - perhaps give it a look.
