I searched until I found the best deal right here from actually two US vendors when going back after the first and finding them sold out in order a spare. I still ended up ordering others things however at Fasttech either being the best price found on the web or the options they have and not at other places while tossing something else also found for a good price. I had to order eGo-V V4s there when a Candian vendor was no longer carrying them who had them for only $23.49 while everyone else wanted about $35!
The Nov 19th order of the Smok BEC Pro should be in monday according to the tracking. information when it reached NY friday morning with just the free shipping being an APV not a battery while the batteries are scheduled to arrive on Jan 4th ordered on Nov 29! Flat rate no air freight used for those expected and Singapore Post used not ChineseExpress mail where you eventually get the USPS tracking once arriving state side as with the BEC Pro order.
I still haven't heard anything but air moving when going to press either one against my ear besides the initial sound coming from the tank's coil heating with the usual crackle and small popping sounds. But I would agree that this would be another source for any sounds since the battery inside has to be well secured as well as the chip card and led display. If one gets dropped on the floor or bumped against something hard without realizing it that could also loosen something up if not broken inside from a sharp impact. Then you would know something was damaged when hearing it.
I can't hear anything else from the iStick, just that high pitched electrical buzz when I hit the button. I didn't drop it so I don't think that something is loosen or anything like that. Even the buttons do not rattle at all.
So I guess that this is the cause.
Are there any 20-22mm clearos? Thought I'd ask since different clearomizers are discussed here.

The only one I can think of (without doing research) is the Aerotank Mega--22 mm diameter. Regular Kanger 510-threaded clearos (PT2, Aerotanks etc) are 19 mm.

Ok guys I got an early christmas present and it was an Istick. But I'm confused about something in the VW mode. Is there a minimum wattage for different coil resistances? I was under the impression that you could set the wattage and get the same amount of heat no matter what the resistance is. I've got a coil in one protank2 reading 2.7ohm and i'm finding it enjoyable at the lowest setting of 3.3W ( i guess i'm a wuss) but i swap to another protank2 with a 2.0 resistance and I can't get the wattage below 4.5W and it tastes like burning.
Has anyone seen the Smart20 anywhere besides Fasttech?

Maiar.....that is the correct wattage on both due to the fact that the lowest voltage you can go on the Istick is 3 volts..
Watts=volts squared (3 x 3 = 9 ) divided by the resistance of your coil...sooooo
9 volts divided by 2.7 ohms=3.3 watts
9 volts divided by 2 ohms = 4.5 watts
Also many folks here are getting burnt hits from low resistance kanger factory coils. Stick with the higher ohm coils or rebuild them with cotton or rayon wicks. Hope this helps?
Edit. Would also like to mention that the true voltage of the istick at 3 volts is really 4.2 volts. This is due to how eleafs software processes the batteries current to vary the voltage. So what your seeing on the display is not correct. A major factor why this thread is HUGE !!!!

When Smoktech introduced the Vmax it was wildly off on the settings but the PWM was something like 90 Hz, fairly smoooth. Then the Zmax came along with it's 33 Hz which was very noticeable, At the time I noticed the vape tasted different but thought I was imagining things.

istick and Innokin 30b. Doesn't look to bad after polishing off the black stripes. Works great with the 2.1 head.

That coil looks a lot like the egrip coil...
