shak22 - isticks are available at a number of local stores. The Vapour Trail in Sackville and Cole Harbour Rd....although I don't like buying from them because they sold me clone batteries advertised as authentic...before I knew better. There is a new-ish store called Smoke-less in Woodlawn and on Kempt Rd in Hali.
check out: Smoke-less that's them.

The bending adapter is also available at smoke-less: 10$... a lot higher than online prices but account for our dollar exchange and shipping...

If you go to smoke-less shop, ask to see the kanger subtanks they have in stock.... it's really cool.

Thanks underwhelmd-- do you know what Smoke-less are selling the iStick for? Might get one for a Xmas present and might be too late to get it shipped from Canvape

I think they are all just under $60 plus tax locally for the istick. vapour trail sells them for 59 at the sackville store. that is for the full kit with the charger included. vapour trail does not have the bending adapter though....you will get a blank stare if you ask for one.

before anyone else says something: I curse our local prices too. Our dollar is in bad shape.

This is the closest thing I've seen to show up to replace the iStick. Adjustable 510; replaceable 18650 and 30w. Size is on par with the iStick, if a hair bigger. Price will be the determining factor...

Cloupor Mini 30W VV/VW Mode Box Mod for Sale

Yes, I agree on all counts. The Coupor Mini 30W looks like the #1 contender so far. Clearly, Cloupor paid close attention and took dead aim at the iStick. With case dimensions of 77.5x36x22mm, the Mini is just a tad larger than the iStick (75x32.8x21mm), but the removable 18650 battery is a big plus. 30 watts, 0.45 ohm lower limit (designed with the Atlantis in mind), presumably RMS calibration, with an adjustable 510 pin. Most of what people asked for in an iStick v2 upgrade.

Still no step-down (7 watts is as low as it will go),. Boxier in the hand than the pleasing semi-curve of the iStick. Build-quality, performance, reliability, and any production/design glitches all as yet unknown. Initial pre-order prices considerably higher than what I paid for my iSticks, but not outrageously so.

The DNA40 remains the 800-lb gorilla mystery factor. I guess we'll see as 2015 unfolds.

This is where the MVP20 has the edge on the competitors. :D

Yup! This is just the tip of the iceberg. 2015 will be the year of small box mods.

Did you call to get a replacement from where you bought your adapter from?

The problem is with the lasp having too much play and not being a solid one piece construction with the button! After so long the lasp will start to flop around and not spring out enough to grab the very edge of the arc shape opening the lasp goes through when putting the tank upright. I've tried stuffing a few things like scotch tape folded up several times as well as small clipping from the wire ties you see on new power cords or a loaf of bread to see if that place tension on the back of the lasp to keep it locked in place without results.

Once it starts loosening up the game is over with these brackets! :( This is where the problem is however. If I take the entire thing and and then try the lasp snaps in place again at times. If the contact pin is removed entirely since the spring on that is much stronger the bracket locks in place with ease! Otherwise the bracket is being pushed up on a little from what I have been finding which prevents the loose lasp from catching the edge fully. One Bending Adapter too soon and now will wait for the same thing once I start carrying the spare around with me! Just be prepared to end up having to remove it completely once the lasp starts flopping around!

Have you considered the plain and inexpensive AFC? It doesn't come with a floating pin, but it also doesn't have any brackets that can malfunction.

Have a link or two? That could prove to be the best idea for something like this over a larger number of people running right smack into this type of problem with the Eleaf adapter. I've seen this type of problem before with other types of products where the very narrow lasp barely catches the edge and any sloppyness results in making it useless since the spring type tension to lock it in place is no longer seen.

At the present time I will be trying to find some type of wedge that can be packed in behind the lasp itself so the adapter can still be made useable again. But the center pin spring tension is the other factor as that tends to push up on the top half a bit.

Here was something else I was looking at a few weeks ago that sort of fits the idea of a folding ecig in the way of an epipe however!

I tried out a pair of addon air flow controllers and neither one worked! The ones built into the Kanger Aerotank Mega and Mini tanks work in one postition only and the best turned to be found with the Nautilus tanks! With some other tanks I'm ready to get out the carbide tips once I have access to a drill press or Bridgeport some time! That would be for the stainless steel tanks that would need a bit more of an increase in air flow.

Will Not buy another Istick !!

At least until the 510 pin gets an improvement . I have bought 5 isticks. Two are Christmas presents. All three I use are a pain in the A_ _. I have to very careful not to tighten or over tighten when filling up the tank. The 510 connection pin is JUNK !! I have to pry up the pin all the time to get a connection. I'm definitely going the buy the Cloupor Mini . I hope Eleaf has somebody reading this.

That sucks. I think you might be able to salvage them with the bendable adapter

I'm not giving Eleaf another penny. Really don't want to raise up height either. Eleaf knew they had a problem ! That's why they brought the bender out. What eleaf did is show there is a big market for the small 20 W mods. This year there will be a lot of mini's comming to market...........

I finally got in my third iStick this week from the black friday sale at Central Vapors. I did just get in 2 mechs and am waiting on 2 more so I sold the stick to a friend at work thats been wanting to get one. She got a smokin' deal at $20. :)

I had one extra airflow control that I'm giving her.

I'm going to wait to hear how some of these new mini devices are doing before I get one. The new year is going to be interesting.

The additional height is negligible. I understand why you're ...... though. Pretty much every ecig device has issues of some kind in it's first version--hopefully V2 is soon or Eleaf may lose the lead they have in the tiny box mod division--the competition isn't standing still.
