You say you're having problems with your "second" tank-- do you mean your second refill of the tank or do you have another Nautilus Mini? If so have you tried the coil from your bad tank in the other one to see if that has the same problem with that coil.
Also-- I read your other thread and wasn't sure what you meant by "cleaning" it-- is that the tank or head you're cleaning? From what I know the heads shouldn't be cleaned until you've used them for awhile to try and get extended life from them.

I meant my second nautilus mini, I bought a new one because I thought my first one was defective because of these problems. I cleaned the whole thing when I wanted to change juices. I've tried interchanging coils, same issues.

Sucks that you're having bad luck with the mini. It's definitely the most popular with the iStick. Hope you find a solution!.

I use an Aspire K1 and mostly a Protank with rebuilt vertical coils--both work really well

Well, this proves that reality can always surpass fiction....... Did I say unicorns? Riding rainbows?

Meh..... this is better, we've just found the actual scriptwriter of the Stargate TV series franchise AND some feature film about a failed Martian space mission..... not less..... and he knows Straczynski's work too, a little something has permeated his........image.......

By the way, did he knows who was the engineer that put mean averages instead of RMS in the iStick? At this pace, surely he knows the answer!

Thanks, it really does seem to be a near perfect fit. My only real concern is with the threads but if i can use the adapter it comes with then i should be fine (tbh i only ever take the base off to clean before a full juice change which is maybe once a month.) otherwise i just keep the base attached and unscrew the tank for fill ups/coil swaps.

I can get it local but they want $60!! I will order online and save 30 bucks...lol

Just ordered it from a eBay seller i have used before. 33 bucks shipped. May even make it here before Xmas but if not my MVP2 is still working for now. :)

The iSticks used here are secondary devices where I use the Nautilus Mini tanks on the pair. For the larger 5ml tank I've been running several at about 13w on other APVs like a Vamo V5, V6, Vamo Fire 20w, and iTaste VTR. The larger tank will feel a bit awkward due to the small size of the iStick itself. Someone did mention getting one with an updated chip that will fire the Atlantis sub ohm tank but that seems to run best at 20w and above! Some flavors made it 40-50w without a problem while not keeping another mod set that high.

The dreaded connection loosened up on me today. Has anybody found a cure for this?

I used a 510 to eGo adapter, but I had to use an o-ring on the bottom side of the adapter in order to make it work correctly. I like the iStick, but the threads are awful :(

I would recommend simply keeping the 510/eGo adapter on as well as not over tightening anything you use since some seem to be running into threading issue. At first I was using eGo threaded tanks on the pair and later the bending adapters without any threading mishaps. But that seems to be the general concensus that there's a vulnerability with the threding on the mod itself.

oring on the bottom side of the adapter? You put the Oring on the adapter?

Yep. It kept giving me the "Low" reading, that's the only way that I could get it to work correctly.
I just purchased an iPV mini.........so my iStick is now a backup.
The "mini" is much larger than the iStick, but it seems to be a well made product, unlike the iStick

I had the adapter it came with on it. I read about the problem early on and slapped the adapter on thinking I could prevent it but still here it is.....

I did this on my MVP but I read something someone said about doing it and pulling the thing loose. Something about the sealer turning to mush. Have you done it?
Time for the o-ring fix maybe. Lift up the pin on the iStick and place a #60 o-ring on it. Got mine at Ace Hardware.

    Pull up center pin

That's how I get the Sticks going. Do it with a small screwdriver not too much. Reattach tank and check ohms reading. If not -o- then vape away. I just ordered a Cloupor Mini . Really tired of playing the Istick pin game. I got rid of all my ego batterys and stuck until Cloupor mini gets here.

Actually that was me. Pulled too much but many other people have successfully performed this fix. And my iStick was fixed by a kind forumite.

The purpose of getting into the iSticks in the first place for me was size plus 20w over the 15w max on eGo-V V3 and V4 Mega batteries. With work jeans on I have the extra pockets for the length of one of those or even the ZNA 50 while without those the iStick with Bending Adapter came into focus as a possible soluttion being compact and still at first using the same tanks.

The only actual problem seen with the pair so far was simply one tiny spring on the first I was carrying with me all the time with the tank folded down. Someone menation ACE Hardware? I found they carry a small bag of compression springs in assorted sizes and will be taking a look at fitting one of those in to replace the pairs of wimpy springs presently seen. I just need to find the correct size and make sure it will stay inplace to actually see an improvement with those!

I love this thing. I use it more than my Provari. I'm not into mechs and rebuilding, and I have no need for high wattage DNA devices because I still use carto tanks. This little baby is awesome. Lasts forever, and a bit over powered. I typically vape 2 ohm single coil cartos at 8 watts or 3.8/4 volts, and I had to dial it down to 7 watts on the iStick. My new baby.
