Well a month and a half of using the iStick.....LOVING it. Such a great little piece of tech. I just wish my Nautilus mini problems would go away. I really need to just throw them in the garbage and find a new tank.

I'm vamping at only 4.7W, battery lasts me a good whole 2 days!
What are your problems with the Nautilus NIbs?

I am also considering a different tank. I have the nautilus and love it but i would like a second tank,
Considering these:
Lemo Drop
GS Air
KFL
Any others you guys/gals can recommend ?

Thanks :D
Believe it or not, the Evod Glass Tank (DC) is a pretty good little tank. I bought one a couple of months ago and used it on the iStick early on, until I got into Nautilus'.
It packs a heck of a flavor! Just a heads up... it can drink some juice up though.

LOL i swear the USPS has gone ......ed (no offence to anyone that works there) but their sorting system must be drunk.
So my FDV 510 connection was supposed to be here today but instead went to bristol CT and was out for delivery, THEN sent back to the bristol sorting center...
The zip codes are not even close...LOL
I know what you mean. I had a package coming from China. It took 5 days to get to Chicago. Then it went west and south to Kansas City then finally north to Wisconsin. It took 8 days to get from Chicago to my house which is about 300 miles away.

Could this be it?

istick-30w

(I don't think so)

Judging by the photos, this is definitely different from the original iStick. The top and bottom caps have been changed. It looks like there are chromed rings around the ends of the extruded enclosure that the caps fit into. The top cap slopes up to a 22-23mm landing pad that flairs out from the enclosure. It's difficult to tell by these photos. But it looks like the top cap has been drilled and a 510 connection press-fitted. The extra height is more than sufficient to incorporate an adjustable pin. But it doesn't appear to be screw adjustable. (Spring loaded?) I'm not sure that I trust the stats on this page however. It is still listed as being 75mm tall. Unless Eleaf shortened the enclosure (easily done with extruded aluminum) to make up for the additional height of the top cap, it is more than 75mm tall.

It is stated as still being a 3-5.5V device. If this is indeed the case, the amperage limit would have had to be increased to reach 30W (and then only at 1Ω @ 5.5V pulling 5.5A). Anything lower than 1Ω would need much higher than 5.5A to reach 30W. In any case, a new firmware would have had to have been written. So there's hope that it's tuned to RMS. It would be a solid 20+W device from 1-1.5Ω.

There are so many unknown variables here. IF Eleaf has fixed the tuning, 510 & QC/build quality; this "30W" iStick is simply what the original should have been all along: a sub $30, darned-near perfect 20W APV that's ideal for 75+% of today's vapers. Even low wattage vapers would love it!

I highly recommend an Erlkonigin clone. I have two identical 1:1 clones. Paid $16.99 + S&H. They were recently lowered to $10 +S&H and I bought a second. Shipped from California. Arrived in 4-5 days.

EK Style Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (8ml) 1:1

Also know that nano versions are on the market now; approximately 20mm shorter and 1/2 the e-liquid capacity (3ml instead of 6).

Good luck!

I just ordered 2 more.They are from vapenw.com.
iStick - $24.99
Includes the 510/ego adapter.Does not include the charger or micro USB cable.
Cell phone charger is a safe substitute.
Not sure if the beauty ring is included. If you need the ring or micro cable pm me and I'll send them to you.
Leather Case/Lanyard - $6.99
Has the button cutouts.
Shipping - $6.00
I think it is a flat rate because it was the same before I added the cases.

When going to the checkout page it will show an amount for sales tax. Complete the "Calculate Sales Tax" amount boxes and the system will remove the tax unless you live in Washington state.

iStick by Eleaf Simple Pack (20W) ON SALE @ VapeNW com $24.99
iStick Leather Case
For that price, I may order another ... or two! Seems greedy, but is there a coupon code for Vapenw right now?

Wow, they really are doing the silicone cases: iStick silicone case

I'm totally taking credit for this btw. 100 pages of pleading worked!

I DEFINITELY want several of these! I just ordered a silicone case for my eGrip. Can't wait for these to become available as well. BTW, if anyone is looking for the eGrip silicone case, VapeNW has them for $3.99.

The irony for me is, I'm so happy with my jwraps....I'm not sure I'll get more than one as a backup. Sorry Eleaf, I'm impatient.

Aldenf,
i saw that one posted earlier and it looks awesome but also confusing on how the wick and coil sit. Any tips ?

There are a couple of great threads here on ECF...

The Erlk Clone thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...stems/613987-erlkonigin-clone-comparison.html

The very large Authentic Erlk thread that starts with a good pictorial:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...zer-systems/573083-erlkoenigin-pictorial.html

Within the above thread is Cloud Hunter's excellent pictorial that solved any wicking issues for me, followed by his diagram:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3-erlkoenigin-pictorial-223.html#post14183353
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3-erlkoenigin-pictorial-143.html#post13971328

My build only differs from Cloud Hunter's now in that I wrap annealed 28g kanthal around a #4 machine screw for a spaced 2.5mm helical coil @ 1.7-1.8 Ω and use Rayon for wicking. I much prefer both the spaced coil and the rayon. It runs amazingly well from 10-15W (solid to 20W) and looks great on the iStick.

Good Luck!

ETA: The IBTanked glass tanks fit both the original and nano very nicely for cheap $...
