The iStick bending adapter is great, highly recommended. Don't user the bending part but the spring loaded 510 is perfect
You may be looking at the 'second' counter after you take a hit?? Check that out. Hope it helps.Help! I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I can't find it. I just got an istick and noticed right away that it runs hot. So I dialed it back and I'm getting a good vape at 6 watts.
The problem is, I will take a puff at 6 watts... The screen will go to sleep, and when I go to take another hit, the watts have changed. Sometimes up to 8.7, sometimes down to 4.2. I thought the buttons were somehow getting pressed. So I let the screen go to sleep and didn't move my hand at all. Sure enough, the watts still changed.
I am loving this thing, but I'll be damned if I'm going to change the watts every time I take a hit
Here it is how I set itYou may be looking at the 'second' counter after you take a hit?? Check that out. Hope it helps.
The second pic was a bit blurry. But it says 9.1WHere it is how I set it
Then I set it down and when I turn the screen on, this is what it says

Very strange. Contact the vendor right away and tell them and they will most likely help you out with an exchange. Here it is how I set it

The ohms read 2.3 both times. The volts changed from 3.7 to 4.5. I haven't tried in variable voltage mode... I prefer watts because I keep quite a few toppers going at the same time with different ohms. I like to set watts and go.I can't read it. Do the ohms or volts change? Have you tried switching to voltage mode?

I bought it at the local b&m. I will go back up there tomorrow if it keeps happening. So weird
I just tried a bunch. It happens to all of my clearomizers, but not my cartosDoes your iStick do the same thing with Every one of your Toppers?
Or just the one you have on it in the Picture?

Hmm...the clearos don't seem to sit down as far... My husband has a circuit board spacer in his mvp to help with the contact issue. I'll steal it when I get home and try that!Sounds like a Contact/Non-Contact issue to me.
Is there any Gap between your Clearomizers and the top of the iStick? And if there is, is it the Same sized gap as with your Cartos?

This thread is nuts!I remember someone having that issue, but don't recall the outcome. No way to find it in this thread!
