Yeah, and when I get a blue one, I'm sure I'll have to run out and get yet another. You'd think that most of us never had toys for Christmas, the way we buy up these toys!![]()
When trying out the first one before the Bending Adapters came along I happen to see one vendor having a sale going on the smok Groove II I had and watched fail and thought to myself "gee since I got something better time to get a spare!" and so far it hasn't proven itself to have been a bad choice for a new toy(vaping)!

Agree, and that wasn't "won't fit". It's "won't fire". That's the pin insulator, not the threads.
I knew there was some other problem some were reporting besides stripped threads. With the company having to move product out fast to keep up with the demand the problem was in assembly where things don't always fit the way they are supposed to. But if they pass a certain QC out they go! Usually it's a case of something will be working great until you take it apart and then it never works right again or won't fir together correctly.
Just a comment on the poll. It is dated 10-31-14. Those who responded may very well be the early adopters. They are the ones who went into uncharted water, experienced and discussed the good, as well as, the bad. I did not purchase my first iStick until November. Due to the experiences of the early adopters the water was well charted. I knew exactly what I was getting. There has been no buyers remorse.
The iStick may not be for everyone. For this ol' woman, it is darn near perfect. My fingers wrap around it as if it was custom made and it is very easy to use. It doesn't hurt that it has eye appeal. It is soooo cute.
For ego clearos I use the 510/ego adapter. The adapter fits nicely and I think it looks nice. I screw the Nautilus minis directly into the 510 connector. The instant I feel the slightest resistance from the threads I stop and start over. One person mentioned going the oposite direction to catch the threads. Then, proceeding in the correct direction. It works. When I think about it I hold the clearo so that the clearo threads are kind of floating between the iStick threads. I do not tighten the the clearo all the way to the top of the iStick. There is a gap of 1 or 2 business cards (I measured) between the bottom of the Nautilus mini and the top of the iStick.
I am also careful with the USB port. I have one connector that seems to fit better and goes in smoother than the others. I use that one almost exclusively unless I want to charge more than one at a time which is rare.
I am kind of attracted to the iStick mini but am concerned that it may be too small and thick to fit in the hand comfortably. Again, I'll wait until I see pics and read the experiences of the early adopters, especially the ladies.
FWIW, I did not vote in the pole. At least, I don't think I did.
Gee I guess I went into uncharted waters then and ran right into... a bad spring in an addon bracket? I think me made out quite good compared to what others ran into!
For eGo threaded tanks that will go nicely with the iStick about 6-10w the Smok Tumblers do one heck of a job if you prefer a cooler vape and still see a good vapor level and flavor level combined. Most of them I run here are on eGo VV/VW type batteries while I have one on a mech epipe as well since the tank is great at the low end. For most menthols, mints, berry, fruit flavors, drinks, etc. about 6-8 works out with the 2ohm not 2.4 or 1.8 for the tank design. 10w for Chocolate Peppermint type flavors takes the too sweet edge off.
That was the first tank I had available and seen with the Nautilus mini in the photo there I just posted when examining the Bending Adapter and deciding which tank to stay with for use on the go. I ended up simply staying with the Mini since it matched for the wattage range much closer.
Meanwhile for anyone just looking now to get one which will mean the full kit GearBest has them priced at $32.10 with everything included. http://www.gearbest.com/electronic-...utm_medium=shareasale&utm_campaign=shareasale
