And the lock function on the arrow buttons! I think they solved most all the complaints. I'm glad they didn't move the charging port as some requested.

Me too, passthrough would be useless with the port anywhere else.
I think it was in Kat's itty bitty thread where someone noted that there is no mention of a passthrough function in the newer Eleaf models. I looked for it in the 30W... It may have just been over-looked. I never use it, but like knowing I can.
What do current iStick users think the chances are that Eleaf got things right the second time around with the 30W? For less than $35 shipped and in stock, I'm considering breaking my vow to not be an early adopter/guinea pig. I'm thinking about treating myself in celebration of being 6 months analog-free and my birthday. Everything I have my eye on is either not available yet or has questionable user-feedback. It appears that Eleaf's leather holder should fit the 30watter, maybe?...
It sure seems like they ticked off all the customer feedback boxes(except means/rms?)--and kept the same price point! Personally I'm pretty impressed with Eleaf-- they could have milked the 20w for a few more months but instead realized they might lose ground to competition and responded remarkably quickly. I too am looking at the 30w... and the 50--doh!

Yes, but folks have verified that you can use it as a pass-through
Most of them aren't putting it in the description because technically, it is not a pass through however you can still connect it and use it while it's charging.Good to know. I thought they might have just overlooked it in the description. I still don't NEED one!
I wonder what will be available when I do need something.....![]()
So - what are the predictions on how many iStick 30s were manufactured in the first run? Think it will be a quick sellout and long wait, or steady stock?
If they were smart, they'd take a peek in here!So - what are the predictions on how many iStick 30s were manufactured in the first run? Think it will be a quick sellout and long wait, or steady stock?
When's your B-day, alden? Mine's around the corner! And believe me, I'm staring at the 30w non-stop wondering how lovely of a gift to get myself that might be... then the next thought is, "Yeah, cuz you NEED another iStick!" D'oh! I so dislike these self arguments. I really get on my nerves sometimes.
Stop it. I'm easily influenced.![]()

Not just the 30--seems to me you need a 30 & 50w to be complete-- all accessorized of course with your tanks. It would make a lovely family portrait!
I am eying the 50watter too. Though I will probably install a DNA 40 in my Hana clone enclosure and call it a day. I can't see me needing more than 40W in the foreseeable future. I'm currently happy at 25-27W while dripping. Though the vaping gods only know what we'll NEED in six months. Temperature protection has my attention. Dr. Farsalino's forthcoming study may prove it prudent. Besides, having at least one really solid device that uses 18650s may be the smart way to go. With my luck, an entire shelf full of iSticks will have their batts quit on me over the same weekend!

Today. While I don't technically NEED the 30W iStick, the revisions are certainly attractive for slightly more than 1/2 the cost of a carton of analogs (1/4 in NYC!). But I currently only have ONE mini-mod.

Hellsbells I need to SELL mods, not buy them!
Happy B-Day to my fellow Capricorns......
