been following this thread before I got my istick.. first thing I did was try the bending adapter, it's not for me... now using the included adapter and a 19.5mm thread cover - makes the Mow Mega kinda tall, but I'm not worrying about the threads!
I think the problem reported by Vape NW was that the threads were machined incorrectly so it wouldn't screw on at all . If you have a bad one you would know right away-- if it's threading ok then you're alright. There still hasn't been anyone report a problem on here so I don't think you need to worry.
This assumes you have a 30w--if it's 20w all bets are off!

It's too late - paranoia established.
Dave from evape.us emailed me this afternoon with instructions about returning the defective iStick 30W for exchange, so all is well, except for three bucks in stamps and the fact that tomorrow is a postal holiday (MLKing national holiday). Patience is a virtue, right?

Just wanted to say I got my iStick skin from eBay this weekend and applied it to my device. The skin is advertised for the 20 watt version but since the 20 and 30 watt look almost exactly identical, I figured it should fit pretty well for the most part. The dimensions for the 30 watt is slightly larger according to the Eleaf site. From my own eyes, they look exactly alike and I can't tell a difference. After applying the skin, it does look like there's a slight gap around the edges, so unless I messed up the application or the skin is actually slightly smaller, it does appear that the 30 watt is ever so slightly larger.
This bothers me slightly but I'll still keep it on. So for anyone looking to wrap theirs and buys a 20 watt version of the skin, it could have a little gap.

funny this picture was posted 1 yr ago....and my drip tip is in the tray......I think they were 20-22$ and the picture does not do them justice.
I just did a little more looking around and I believe these came from Ghosted Glass.......looks like many shops appear to have the same looking tray that they are displayed in if your search for images for Ghosted Glass drip tips. Hope that helps...
