It didn't start until I quit cussing a few years ago when I shut my business down and closed my club. I took a long vacation away from the general public and the next thing....................deleted. Never mind I started getting visuals again :)

Edit: That sounds like I'm talkin to a shrink. Maybe I need to see one

OldLadyO-- do you use all those iSticks naked(no thread protection:510-ego, air flow adapter or bendy)? If so that's amazing!

That's actually a good question-- who has used their 20w with no thread protection and had no problems(including 510 pin issues)? I was too paranoid and used adapters right from the start

With only 5 20w iSticks and 1 pink EARL 20w I feel like a slacker. I use the 510/ego adapter for ego clearos. The 510 clearos are buck naked. I am careful. The instant I feel the slightest resistance I stop and start over. When starting over I turn the clearo in the opposite direction. If there is good thread alignment I proceed in the correct direction. I stop tightening the thickness of 2 business cards before it is flush with the top of the iStick, which avoids the depressed 510 issue. The gap could be annoying to some.

One of the Naut.minis has a less than perfect 510 shaft. It has always been a little rough, and a slightly different color near the top. At first I only used it on a dedicated iStick, just in case. I got some of the Avid o-ring lubricant. It helps. I did not receive a glass jar as noted in the description. The container is small. Approx the size of a dime and 1/2" inch tall.

Food Grade O Ring lubricant - Avid Vaper

I would have ruined 1 or 2 of them, never to purchase another, if it had not been for the ECF early adopters.

 I started laughing when I got to naked:facepalm: Not a pretty picture. That's why I don't like profanity because I get literal visuals from it.

And just what does that mean, Mr? I let it all hang out when I'm puffin my sticks.

Shack, I have one with a flipper thingy on it. The rest are all naked. Three are top filling and the others I leave the base on when I fill. Only take them off to change coils. I have switched tanks around on them but I just have not had any problems at all. Four of them are from wayyyy back when they first came out. Just Lucky, I guess.

I started all 3 of my 20s without thread protection. Reading here, about a month in, I got paranoid & bought AFC adapters for all of them. One wouldn't read an atty with the adapter on so I just took it off. The same thing happened to the other 2 after a month. All 3 are still going strong, no wobble, no pin problems. One has squeaky threads & I have to be really gentle when putting on the tank. I got them the first couple of weeks that they were available. I am pleased. [emoji5]️
