Well, just adjust that little screw between the two air holes and you'll get more juice, and less air!;)

I forgot all about the lil screw when Bike mentioned the air flow, I was twisting and twisting, becoming enraged-----:D

Then I opened a new GS Air and remembered the screw.....yep...kinda pain in the +++... but once its set, its set.....:)

Grabbed off google thumbnails where the picture is already gone, so don't know how long these will last :)

I don't see any mesh or wick, just appears to be a coil beneath the plate

There would have to be some sort of wick in the coil. If you tried a RDA with just a coil, no wick and dripped juice on it, it would only last about 1/2 a puff before burning. Something has to be there to supply juice to the heat.

The bridges were in them to contact the blue foam in our carts.....

I was wondering what the bridge was for. :) Of course. It was a bridge from the coil to the carto. I never doubted there was something in the coil, wire mesh is what I was thinkin , but I was told the juice puddled around the coil and it had no wick. I guess they were wrong. At any rate when the next one dies I'm rippin it apart. :D

My bridgeless ones are great. I have bridged ones too and they are fine for drippin just take more effort to clean between juices. I usually get 4 or 5 out to test 4 or 5 juices. I drink ginger ale or water in between juices but if I try to do too much tastin, the flavors get lost if that makes sense. Everything starts to taste similar. :)

This air adjuster on the GS Air is the best I've used. I've fine tuned the draw to a quarter turn. If I move it either way it gets a little too tight or a little too airy. I didn't realize that my preference in the draw would be that precise. It reminds me of adjustin the pilot air screw on a bike carburetor. :)

My Emow Mega is only 19 mm--is there a larger version already on the market? AFAIK, the Aerotank mega is 22 mm.

But I've been wrong before... Kanger releases those tanks like there's no tomorrow. Can't keep up. :D

Aerotank mega sits flush on a panzer.... So does the full size sub tank.... So the mega is 25mm

I was just not sure about the ones they say are the replacement for the e-cig. But I guess it's basically a bridged atty. They are disposable so I don't think you bought too many. :)

Hard to tell..... here's a regular Joye 510 with the bridge removed...

I know cisco used Joyes for his modifications. I assume they were also used for the HH.357. His tweaks:

The GS was giving me a high air to cloud ratio that I didn't like. I don't understand why others feel it isn't airy enough. I don't really like what I call a tight draw except for tobacco vapes for some reason, that's why I do those in a T3S. So I got my little screwdriver out ( I have a bunch but I think one out of an eyeglass repair kit would work great) and turned it down a bit. I still couldn't get it right for some reason. Either too tight or too much air, so I changed the drip tip to a smaller hole one and that made it perfect. I'm getting plenty of cloud, and I like that I can fine tune the draw. The flavor is there as good or better than any BCC I've owned. I'm anxious to try another juice since this one is Max VG and already mutes the flavor. So it may be a bit better flavor producer than I think. One thing that really impresses me is that I can turn it up to 16w and it still vapes great without burning. I can probably go higher. I've been playin around with the power from 8 - 16w to see where flavor is best. But even at 16w with 80 VG no dry hits so I'm impressed with the wicking ability. So far no leaks or flooding. It seems like it's the tank described by everybody. I appreciate all that recommended it and for bein straight up about it. My experience is with people hyping something up beyond it's actual performance, not in this case. But I knew who to trust before I bought these. :) I have to give it 2 thumbs up for performance and value. Can't believe the price.

And...we've converted another!:p

Glad you found your "sweet spot" with the air adjustment screw. It is true that once you find "your" adjustment, you just set it and forget it. Just like Ronco...

The first bridgeless I had weren't joyes, so that was my '50-50' experience that I mentioned. Later, I got some regular 510 bridgeless from cisco and then the HH .357 - both worked well, the 510 was less $ of course. Later I got the Vapage bottom feeder VMod kit that had the hybrid universal (gold) and a hybrid atty (not universal - forget the exact difference but the gold were better performers for me). I began using the hybrid universal as a dripper for a while. The quality seemed to drop after about a year (ie. new ones that I got, not the same one :) - went back to cisco's 510s and 306's....

Still a PITA.

I have memories of rummaging through my purse in search of a fresh carto--at red lights. Or trying to guess how much juice I have left in my carto. Or how much life is left in my 180 mAh battery...

I know! Those 30 seconds left were VERY important! :D

I timed my O&A trips to correspond to the 45 minutes (appx) I got on the cigalikes.

You were gone--someone had to entertain the crew in your absence. :D

More memories--I remember threads instructing us how to sand down the eGo cones so that the cartos would fit in them... Ever done that? That was fun! Things we used to do here... ;)

Funny-gifs-jerk-11.gif

I defer to you, mine little katsolotta. ;)

I used eGo cones to cover kartos! In fact, I went thru a very LONG spell of trying to find all sorts of things to covers the damm things. Anything I could find, in fact! When I found these, I thought I'd died and gone to karto kover heaven.

:danger: WARNING: Bling haters..... skip to the next post!

And when ya couldn't "beat 'em", you just had to find colors....

I never had a bottom feeder mod. I always wanted a Woodvil and they were never in stock when I tried to get one, so I finally gave up. Still curious about them, though. They are so beautiful.

Great pic. Love the Mini Touchwood!
