Today's shoveling of the walkway for the building. I'll be glad when Winter is over!

Holy vape iSticks Batman, people other than Santa live there? ;)

I won't mention the temps here in south Jawga today or the fact I have been having to run the A/C, look on the cost saving side. As long as you use a wood burning stove!

That sucks. Here on the left coast of Canada its 12 Celsius and 80% of the people walking by my office are wearing sunglasses. :p
Yeah my step daughter lives in Burnaby and she has been sending us pictures of all the flowers and trees that are in bloom... :)

Jeez... that's rough... ;) Hot water heat here, as long as the boilers are fired nice and toasty warm. We will bring the A/C on line in another 4 months...

Thank You good sir for your very, very, generous offer. I take that this house is also in AZ? I have never been to AZ.

Hey guys and gals! I have some worries which I'll translate into questions. And I was hoping someone here could translate that into an answer!

Is it harmful to the life of the battery to charge every night before I go to sleep?

Does the lack of a full charge cycle harm them? As in charging while half the battery still remains?

Does leaving it plugged in over night while I sleep harm it?

Does doing a quick charge not to full capacity hurt it?

Stay vaping my friends.

Stay vaping my friends.

I charge my stuff at night.

go ahead and charge at any point.

I charge my stuff overnight- most regulated devices have the auto-shut off when they're full, but still be cautious.

not sure what you mean by a quick charge..

Like let's say it's almost dead and I only have 20 minutes to charge it. Not reaching anywhere near full capacity. Does any of this effect the life of the battery?

Rosckolove, I come from the old skool position that was always "taught" here on ECF. I NEVER leave any battery charging unattended.

You should be fine to charge it at the half full point, and tho I have no science based answer for your last question, I've charged many a battery at the almost "dead" point for a short while if I needed that particular one....... with no ill consequences.

It was a tough decision between JUST the 30W Battery and Full Kit

I can always use an extra 110V wall plug charger and have a couple, including 12V USBs I guess

But more important was getting another iSick 510 connection adapter besides my 20W's to make it easy to switch between my Mini's and Kangers on both iSticks

Thanks FOR ALL YOUR POSTS regarding current best places for getting a 30W

I am sure you will get many replies to your 5 questions, you have come to the right place to ask this.

I am going to give you a simple answer and it is going to be the same for all 5 questions

NO
generally

From my 6 months of experience with my 20W iStick This is my simple answer

but others here who are long term Vaping experts might have different well founded and valid opinions that are different

However just to be safe I must agree with KatDarling, its not a good idea to charge unattended! THINK ABOUT FIRES!

FYI to be honest, I often sleep right next to where I charge my iStick over night and any smoke or burning would wake me up almost instantly, but other people might not wake up at all, this is something to really carefully think about. What I rest my charging iStick on, is something that is easily replaceable if it the surface got damaged from over heating or other charging problem

Talking about "Minis and Kangers", I recently rebuilt my Mini Protank 2 coils using 28 ga. wire and - coupled with the Aerotank AFC base - the little thing isn't bad at all.

No problem with grommet burning yet. I stuck the coil on a spare RDA - keeping the legs long - and gave it a decent dry burn before mounting it. Even did a short dry burn after mounting it (before wicking, of course). Read that tip recently somewhere.

So far, so good. It sucks up a bit more juice, though.

I'll be probably be ordering some silicone grommets for the head assembly, as I hear that they're more resistant to burning.
