inspects, I bet on a meter it is firing, in the miliseconds range, that setup just needs a little time to get glowin! :)

I have a Fluke multimeter....I tested the atty's (Goblin and Kanger subs).....its about two seconds.....not using a stopwatch naturally, but close I'd bet.....

1 month and 1 day after I ordered it it finally arrived. The box was torn wide open and badly mangled. The display is dead. It won't take a charge, and the down adjustment button is frozen. There seems to be some distortion around the fire button which doesn't rattle. All in all, I am hoping for a swift refund. At least the 3 cute little silicone covers for the 30's are ok. So much for CVAPOR.

This sounds like the package got stuck in one of the sorting machines and was being torn apart for 2 full weeks before someone noticed it. I wouldn't blame CVapor for that. It still sucks for you. Waiting that long only to get the carcass of what used to be a functioning istick. RIP. :-x

I'm not building anymore low ohm coils....I just had to try it...and found I don't like it......so the 50's work fine at .5 or higher.....:lol::lol:

I know this isn't funny for the person who received the battery in this condition, but that is still hilarious......(received the carcass)......:lol::lol:

Damn thats some funny stuff.....:)

Dual 28g with 6 wraps, I guess it would take a bit to heat up. But it actually fires quicker than 2 seconds right? :)

You talking about really low resistance coils?

I don't have any delay at anything above .5 builds....nothing I can notice anyway.

And I only have the problem with one 50W, the other iStick 50's fire the .3 quickly, not immediately, but faster than the blue one does.

No not really low thats why I commented on it being the build. I don't delve much below .5 and as a daily vape i'm usually around .9 :) Ok I'm a wennie

That is what I changed all my coils to. I never tried a really low ohm build, was wondering what all the commotion was about.....I thought I was missing something....found out I wasn't....:)

But did we miss the bling??

Nope, but I really was let down! I would have figured Kat to at least 2 or 3 rings on each toe. Some with diamonds.

Wellllllllllllllllll........ ya busted me. They are there.... guess you have to look more closely. ;)

Oh no. Le sigh.

No I haven't tried that one but you make it sound good. I still vape and like tobacco flavors and chocolate. Sounds like one I'd like. :)
I accidently ramped my black 50 up to 50w and think I blew out one of the dual coils in a GS Air.......

edit: Checked out the Wakonda at NT. No mention of chocolate just vanilla. Funny how our taste differs from others. I may just try that one :) Any more NT flavors that you recommend? I can't remember those I've tried. Must have been Betelgeuse

I have a recommendation for you, Bikerz. NiteLiteVapor's Harbor Nite (www.pvliquids.com). It sounds exactly like your taste profile.

Troll, I built dual 28 ga kanthal 6 wraps at 25 watts, it won't fire for a second or two.

On the Vapor Shark it fires immediately.
I thought it might have been the Preheat function of the Vapor Shark kicking in but that is only in temp mode.

Just a little quirk with the 50W I guess. ;)

I still don't get how people can vape at higher wattages. If I go any higher than 15 watts with any coil ohmage, any wick method the vapour is way too hot and my liquid burns.
Really all depends on what the atty is... I run my Origen at 25W to 35W depending on the juice.
NTndPuy.jpg

Now the Mutation X V3 or CCI Militia I sometimes run at 65W with a dual twisted 24g build, just for the clouds. :vapor:
A 24g build on the Kayfun will melt the lips off of you as it doesn't have the airflow to for that kind of coil. :D
