Originally I was going to post an answer to Lynn about this but didn't want to sound argumentative.

I was going to say, "Actually the surgery does work, but I cannot do it until my eyes quit changing.
My prescription has been changing almost every 8 to 12 months, so if I would get the surgery, I'd be back to square one in a heartbeat. So this is why my Doctor told me that it would be a waste of money getting it done because of all of the drastic changes.
However, if you're one of the lucky ones and you're eyes are done changing, I'd go for it. It is sort of a guessing game, but if you haven't changed prescriptions in years, you're most likely a better candidate for it. As far as cataracts go, if they're bad enough and they're ready to operate on them, you get a 2fer! A 2 for one deal, because now a days, they laser them anyhow, so you end up seeing better than a Hawk!!
My Sister still hasn't gone back to glasses for about 10 years now, but the difference is that hers obviously were done changing.
And now back to our regularly scheduled
vape session!!
