If there is Alden, I ain't found it yet! After my purchase of a special edition istick and my much wanted pink istick across the hall, I said that's it! I need no more gear! Then, the eVic-Vt started across the hall, I'm now suffering from shinyitis all over again! I seriously need to stop going across the hall!!:lol::lol::lol:

Fine then... No more hall passes for you!!! ;)

Yeah it has the new adjustable 510 pin. That copper vein is tough. It's as hard as epoxy. I used to do my Rhino fitness equipment with it sometimes and you could throw parts across a rough concrete floor and not scratch em.
Unfortunately, I didn't clear coat mine so now it's gotten dark. It's not that pretty golden color it was when I first got it. Rob said he would redo it, update it and give it a clear coat for $75 but I haven't sent it back yet. I need to stay on this side of the hall so I can have it done.

Thanks Alden!!! Hold me to it!! After the eVic that is!!
After that, there really shouldn't be anything else I could need! I have plenty of mods, tanks and God know enough juice!!

I used to do whole Rhino Lat Pulldown for that much. I never had to clear coat Copper, Silver, or Gold Vein. Maybe the juice made it fade...............edit:

It's only dark on the body of the Reo. The top where the firing button and atty sits is still the same beautiful color so idk...oils from the hands maybe?

And I don't care if you laugh....

You know we all love you, Bike. But, for her sake, I hope your missus is blind! :)

Epileptic? You act like she's braindead!
I'm just tired of hearing how you wasted $32. It has taken you pages and pages to tell us. Please, as someone else said, get over it and move on (to another thread).
That made me think of this post closer to the beginning of this thread^^
She ain't exactly brain dead but judge for yourself

Vaping ain't easy. I wish it were a lot less complicated. Further regulation and legislation are just going to make the entire process much harder. I am settling my expectations much lower than they were originally. I can't go back to tobacco. If that means I have to carry a pink mod and pastel-colored (banish the thought!!!) rebuildable atomizer, then so be it.

I can see it now, hundreds of mod paint shops opening up across the country. "We paint while you wait!"

Hmmm... I have a nice airbrush setup. Maybe a new line of work? I'll need to get paint chips. Anyone know where I can get "iStick Red"?

Make sure you offer free coiling cleaning and battery testing for new customers!

I could open a full-service vaping repair shop. Don't need an expensive hydraulic lift for that or thousands of bucks worth of Snap-On/Mac tools. Don't need a huge drive-in kiln either. Hmmm... Think I could still get $75/hr?

Alden you can powder coat mods with a $50 gun and a toaster oven. :)

My first istick days on this thread  I got the whole town riled up  Some were moderated. It was my fault though. You sure didn't say anything against the 20w back in those days :)
A sample if you care to read it:
I think the "tone" of your posts kinda annoyed people-- they're a bit antagonistic. If you had worded things more diplomatically I suspect you would have had a much different reaction. One of the reasons I enjoy this thread is there is very little drama(maybe 2 or 3 posts deleted by mods) and folks are very happy to help out.
Over react much? You don't even have the device in hand yet but condemn it anyway. Fine. Move on.

    No sense of humor much?

    ....... said:
this is a $30 device, you're way overthinking this

Tell the others that seem to be taken back.. All I did was say I didn't like it cause of the threads and wanted to get something else for a gift for my wife.. You are way overthinking this. I gotta start usin more smiley faces. :) :) :)

I once bought her a hair dryer. A big hood type thing with a radio in it. My oldest son and I thought it would be great. Nope 25 years later "singin hair dryer" jokes are still goin around.:)

Now that's funny:laugh::laugh::laugh: Nice to see you do have a sense of humor.

Thank you .... ....., I guess, but I thought that was apparent a bunch of posts back .

I still go back there and read those pages of stuff when I'm reminded. Lot's of laughs. You had to be there.

Isn't the powder coat itself kinda expensive? I've thought about asking a friend that works in an auto body shop if he could re powder coat my copper vein?
Powder is cheap cause it goes a long way. To have something powder coated you have to cure it in an oven and they cost a lot to power. You don't want to mix colors in a batch as there is heat blowing around and little flecks of powder could easily contaminate another color. You would come out better buying a Sears powder gun and a Goodwill toaster oven and diy. The only thing is, the Vein coatings are thick, hard to remove and might not look so good with an overcoat. It can be done though. Are you sure you can't clean it up?

My complaint with a lot of mods is there's no way to repair them for the average person. A simple switch problem can doom the whole thing. Even if it is the same price as something new, there's a few that I'd rather hang onto for as long as I can. I wish there was someone who was into repairing mods.

I remember well. I was there and followed everything. It was rather entertaining. I did feel a bit sorry for you. There were a couple of, shall we say, non-social people active on the thread back then. My favorite was your "I gotta start usin more smiley faces. :) :) :)".

Was it my blog that got you questioning the 20W? I was an early, very loud, critic of the 20W, particularly the electronics. I think I annoyed quite a few with my long techie rants. After I had it a week, I mostly shut up except for an occasional post in hopes that Eleaf was following this thread as they were Redit. With all its flaws, I was really enjoying it. When PBusardo's review came out, I usually just referred new posters to it. The 30W fixed every one of my complaints with the 20W and caused no drama in this thread. Then the 50W threw up all over itself. Well, enough of them did. I'm happy that drama hit other threads.

Now we sit drooling over temp limiting. What's next, nuclear-powered mods?
