Thanks for posting! There is not much more that upsets non-smokers and responsible smokers than seeing cigarette butts on the ground, at off ramps, etc. etc. Plus some of the 'designated smoking area' ashtrays/receptacles can be an eyesore when not maintained. I've put out a few 'fires' in them myself.

I completely agree -- I was an outdoor smoker for the last 16 yrs, and it always just DROVE ME WILD for someone to be out there keeping me company, and throw their .... ON MY LAWN!!! I'd make 'em go pick it back up and put it in the damned ashtray! When I was a teenager, my stepfather did this to me, too, so I learned -- butts on lawns turn into confetti when the lawnmower gets hold of 'em! Plus they poison the plants! (this, though I willingly poisoned myself with 'em for 39 yrs! hehehe)

I started smoking in the military and you did pushups when you did that. Learned to 'field strip' a cig and put the .... in my pocket. That habit stayed with me until I quit smoking. I used small zip locks at some point.....
