Interested: yep, definitely.

... keep the above in mind before reading the next ...

Getting ridiculously specific: I'd be especially interested if we could get a tall one (LavaGen atomizer length tank) designed for a brass tank shield with wide open viewports (like Doc Dave's Bliss or Steam Turbine). As in I'd go $125+ including the tank shield. Idea being the end caps slightly wider ... 19mm tank, caps that fit the 19mm tank but have a flange that sticks out to 22mm, shield is held in place between.

(however, I realize most pipes don't want something THAT thick, that's just what I'm currently brainstorming for 3D printing and I'm not convinced the 3D printing process will seal well enough for the caps)

It's still in the "what if we did this" phase so I'll run some ideas past the machinist to see what is feasible.
FYI, glass and polycarbonate don't run in the same stock sizes (to my knowledge). This means a LavaGen compatible tank may not be doable. Brass tubing may be an option for a sleeve though, it just depends on the ID/OD and tolerances of the glass.

I'm currently testing brass (plated I'm sure) on my CIY block:

I stole the brass carto from the 618 pipe I had sitting in the drawer. That's a 19mm tank so for the larger pipes I think the 19mm + shield will look just fine, but it would be quite big for the smaller pipes. Only good use I got out of the 618 :)

(edit: hard to see small photo from old webcam is fail, but the brass + the brass button from ePipeMods is a win-win)

Understood ... and no worries, I know it can be a pain. If not LavaGen compatible I can always the one I build out for the LavaGen for home use and pop on the brass tank for travels :) I'm planning on this thing following me around while I sit in convention booths for my wife's shows (sci-fi/steampunk/comic cons primarily). I may need to invest in a micro-sized LowJack though.
