Matt, Im not really into cartos anymore but I just saw this Pbusardo review. This looks like it may be cool for the pipes. I didnt like the giant cartos too much because they dont work consistently for me and the dual coil makes them work not so great also. But I loved the look of them and they fit a handful of stems I have. Have you tested these yet. I know you play with a lot of stuff that never earns its way to the site, were these on the reject list?

I watched that one by Busardo and all the time it just made me think of the stuff I tried to mod (and modded) from the empty mega carto tubes from china, it doesn´t look very, humm how do I put it, "produced"? :D You know, it looks like something you make when you have two hours too much time and some broken cartos. Just my thoughts. And I have to say that the pipes look better with the 510 stems. :)

Im wondering now if my pipe stems will work anyhow. It might leak all over with the normal stems. Ive never liked the 510 stems compared to the mega ego stems like the one in my pic below. Those are my favorites but I cant seem to find a good use for them anymore. I think Im gonna buy one and try it out anyhow so my pipe can look like it does in the pic again.

I think the ego carto tank we sell would be pretty much the same thing.

Im really just talking about the look though. Im vain with my pipes, what can I say, its all about the looks. I like the Viking to look just like it does in the pic above. Just wanted to check in to see if you have tried this yet or anyone else with a pipe. Plus do those ego tanks use the dual coil cartos? I like the single coil boge with the pipes. Those dual coils are hard to drive for how I like to vape. I just like the look and the ability to use my stems that fit in those super huge mega sized cartos. Ive got like 4 of them here just sitting around.

It does look nice dirq! I am sort of picky about matchey-matchey also.

Your stuff all looks so nice Blu.

Another thing about that pipe is those ego tanks do not look good on it at all with that shroud. The tank comes out dwarfy like a little stub lol. Then that pipes does not have ego threads so a cone does not thread on. These mega ego things work perfectly on this particular pipe. The Vision rebuildable is the only other thing Ive found fit in the shroud and include a cone the right length that covers the connector. This pipe, while my favorite has been the hardest to get that perfect setup for. The Steam Machine would have been perfect if it the pipe had ego threads and not just a 510 connection.

Thanks dirq! :D

Have you tried a 510-eGo connector? I have one, it just screws on .... is that what you need, and eGo connection? I can send it for you to try .. I sure don't use it. LOL
I started with a TON of eGo stuff.

Am I totally misreading it?

Oh, and it's not like you live far away or anything!

The short mega carto stem is very nice, I like using them also and it is true that the cartos require a bit of "oomph" to work...

You can use any 510 carto in those tanks, I'm pretty sure anyway.
Also take the top portion out of a Phoenix and you can put those mega b stems in it.

Semi stupid question, I have a pipe from when I used to smoke(never got around to using it), if I were(hypothetically) to send it to you guys could that be changed into an e-pipe? And part 2 if yes is that something you guys would do?
Unfortunately no, there are several dimensional requirements that would have to be met. In addition converting a real pipe would be like working backwards for us. There are several processes that we do in a specific order. It is much easier for us to simply build a pipe from the ground up rather than to convert one.

Those ego tanks have a skirt on them so they don't need a cone. However you probably can't use the B stems with them.
If you want to send it back I can rewire it with an ego connector...

Ive thought about asking to send it back before but part of me wants to leave it vintage. And I must be totally confused on which ego tank you are talking about. I didnt find one that would cover the 510 connection with a skirt. Ill go back and look on the site.

Thanks so much Blu. That wont do what I want it to do though. It will basically just fit on the end of the 510 connector and extend things out farther. Its a great idea though. Just not what I want. I almost want to take you up on your offer just so I can come down to finally meet you and see some of your beautiful mods.

See, the connector is like this. So the adapter that I think you are talking about would screw in the end. Ive tried that and been unable to find a cone that would cover both connectors. It works, just not the way I want.

Matt, thanks for offering to change the connector for me. But the connector it has on it now if from an era gone. Kinda like changing history. I like it the way you made it, no changes needed. Its just me that needs to find the right setup for the pipe, not change the pipe for the setup. I consider it art and you should never change art.

dirq - Ok ... now I see it.

Hmm ... is that short piece the same diameter as a carto? Cover it with a cut piece of classy looking drip shield?
I think if it was me, I might put a straight eGo tank cone down there, if it fit length-wise. If the cone is too wide, I would put a small piece of that Command sticky stuff inside to hold it? The stuff you use to attach the hooks, but that peels off clean?
I have used that stuff to hold Kicks in wood mods, works well and is totally reversible.
