Re the hormigo negro...

Congrats... I wanted that one. Does the angle make it easier for the pipe to sit flat by itself? My Dublin has a flat bottom but the atomizer and stem weight tips it off balance so it won't stand up by itself.

Thanks. That is what I was hoping. Going to use it with a Vision Eternity so I don't want to have to hold it when dripping into it.

I'd have to go back and look at the launch announcement of the new dragons but I remember that being the whole point of the new dragon design. I know he had pictures of heavy stuff like the Penelope on it.

EDIT: Decided to look back and not accidentally say something untrue. Here was the original launch announcement.

This Holiday Season, the gate to middle earth will be opened once more.
Many things will happen, and the Dragon will be awakened.

The new Dragon will carry an 18500 battery. It's about half the size of the earlier incarnations.
Instead of being a bottom feeder, it will be balanced to stand with most any tank and stem set up.

Matt,

Your going to bankrupt me with the new pipes! I sure wish I had the money to snap those up! Had to sell off a couple older pv's to get my last pipe but who need a anything but a pipe anyway?

Any plans to sell some of those nice looking pipe stands?

18350 pipes work fine with the eGo booster.
Perhaps its a regulated voltage instead of wattage issue.

Matt,

My Ego Booster died after about three weeks. Was I just unlucky or is there anything I did with my 18350 pipe to cause it to fail? When I get the warranty replacement I will use it with my Dragon. Any tips?

Unfortunately the boosters can get wrecked if the battery is reversed and a single button press is made.
They don't have reverse polarity protection. Fortunately this is a warranty-able issue.
I'm not saying this is what happened but I believe it's the most common cause and a mistake that is easily made.
The only other issue I've had with them is shorts due to over-tightening. This can be resolved by putting an o-ring over the connector.
The o-ring should sit below the external eGo threads and this will help prevent over tightening.
