You have two kinds of B&Ms, a store and a lounge. A store is just that while the lounge encourages customers to sit and talk, oftem selling drinks as well as vaping goods. Lounges tend to be friendlier places while shops are more "go in buy and get out". Lounge owners also tend to be more into the vaping experience and run more relaxed places. There is a shop in Indy that I stopped in once...the owner was not very knowledgeable and selection was limited except for juice. They wanted you to buy and get out.

Some places are in it strictly for the money, others really like vaping and the vaping community and run their shops accordingly.

Fluid Vapor is not too far from my house...their spot is a lounge....very relaxed and informative experience....much better than eliquidplanets location by me....the guys at fluid vapors attitude encourage me to visit the store more often and make purchases even though its a little more pricey than online stores...gotta support the small guys right....

I met the Fluid Vapor guys at Vape Bash, was nice that they mingled during the event rather than just staying behind their table. Again you could tell they enjoyed what they did and it was more than just a paycheck.

Crowns only work with specific Jazz Pipes, which we should have both in stock soon.
The eGo Booster 2 will utilize the same crown tech but thread onto the connector rather than drop into the battery chamber.
EB2's are still in development and thus far there is no eta. I am about to receive some sample boards for testing (just the raw electronics, not the completed product) which hopefully means they will be released sooner than later. I will keep you guys posted.

I was not aware that this was going on. I do believe I know who is being referred to here, but WOW. This guy is begging for a lawsuit. Not from me, but from the customer that chars his face using one of these unprotected devices.
Again though, People want what they want, and if this guy is willing to take the risk to give it to them, that's on him.
I DO NOT CONDONE THIS WHATSOEVER- If you modify your pipe and remove the vapesafe you are on your own. Don't come crying to me when something goes terribly wrong.

You do know who it is, I dont even need to tell you. The guy is a total clown. I told a local friend what he messaged me and he told me a friend of his gave him a tobacco pipe to convert and when it wasnt done in 6 months he asked for it back. The pipe was totally hacked and unrepairable. This however is second hand information. I should say that I read his message back and it wasnt as scathing as I remembered it but ya, it wasnt nice at all and he did say that you are "safe crazy" lol. Ill take my safety thanks. I dont feel the need for mad crazy low ohm coils. Me and my lungs are too old for that. I dont begrudge anyone else for doing that though.

I'm curious about what others have experienced at their local B&Ms. I started vaping in 09 on the joye 510 (I believe it was the precursor to the ego) and the internet was the only place I could buy any of the gear required. Due to the inherent nature of online shopping I naturally found myself relying on other customers, who were considerate enough to post videos and reviews, to inform me of what to buy and how to use it. End of prologue

There are 3 shops here in San Diego and they're all branches of the same company. I don't know if it's appropriate to name the company but I'm sure a "something" search would reveal it. It's natural to be vexed sometimes by the postal service so I started to go to the shop in town for new atomizers and such. I've never been to a B&M other than the ones run by this company but I'm sure the variety of clientele are of the same elements and some of those are people who need all the information that people like me already got online.

It boils down to this. The storefront is different things to different people, even the owner and his employees and because of this it's my least favorite place in the city. I can imagine how difficult it would be to manage a place like that and I'm wondering if any of the stores you guys go to actually do it well. This place definitely doesn't lack for customers and profit but the place is a madhouse. After maybe a dozen or so visits when I was in a "buy a 306 and a bottle of juice then rinse and repeat" phase I've since resigned myself to ordering online only. I'm just wondering, does it have to be like this? Are they all the same due to the inherent vice of the business?

Sorry the B&M's are not working for you down there. We have no less than 5 in my area and all but one is awesome. You can go and hang out with fellow vapers and have a great time while testing different juices to your hearts content. What could be better. One in particular is a mad house but thats the best part. The worst part is I pay way higher prices but ya know, I do it happily to keep these guys around.

Hey Matt, any word on maybe commissioning some custom brass eGo rings to mate with the Sun and Dragon Brass RBAs? None of my many eGo rings mate with it well, and I'm not just talking about the finish. There's always a gap.

I'll ask around. most of the machinist I work with hate doing threads, especially ID threads. But perhaps we could have one made without ID threads. There are several none threaded cone options out there.

I'm also seeking out black cones. I think they would look sharp too.
