Don't feel bad dirquist, I had vape mail shipped to me from Indianapolis to my home in northern Indiana, tracking showed it going from Indy to Louisiana, to Georgia, back to Indy then to Kokomo In. before making it to my doorstep 8 days later.
I can dig. This isnt my craziest tracking but the first time Ive had a package sort though and then leave a place only to arrive and resort at the same place 2 days later. Then North Carolina, why there lol. Im in Washington. Oh well, it still shows it will be here on the 10th so thats..... oh wait, that was Monday! Im sure it will make its way here soon enough. Im just glad the box I sent to Matt didnt do that. Much more important box

I was cruising around the net looking to see if there was a way to remove lead from brass and ran across this:

Seems pretty simple and uses common household items (vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, water). Only removes surface lead though.

Should be no need unless the brass in the RBAs is low quality. Modern brass doesn't typically have lead. Won't hurt anything to give em a rinse though.

Finally got over the newbie post restriction to come here and say...I can't wait to get my first epipe, and an EPM at that! I wanted the gandalf, but decided that my first (yes, from the looks of all of you guys it sounds like you can't just have one) should be a more traditional piece. I settled on the pawn zircote! It should come in this week and I can't help but refresh the tracking page every other hour.

True, but can never be too cautious. I remember reading somewhere that in order to be dubbed "lead free brass" it had to contain less than .25% lead though.
I'll just toss it in the ultra sonic with the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. I always toss new stuff in regardless.
