could always make a 510-510 one of these if need be, but best if it fit's without an adapter of course :2cool: =

Got my ERA today! Made a coil like the tutorial in this thread and went to town. The thing produces huge amounts of vapor, but Im not getting a whole lot of flavor with it....

I made my coil 1.7. Ive previously been using a 1.5 HH357 for the last month with good results, so thats all I can campare to for now.

I also discovered my ERA connector was a bit too long. I just so happen to have some brass washers that just barely fit around the 510 threads. The washers let you snug up the atty w/o having to worry about shorting. Each mod is different though, my Black Grand needs two washers to make contact and my Silver Grand only needs one since the cup is deeper.

Rc, undo ur coil thro cap back on and lay it with connector facing up and tap it gently with a hammer right on center, do this till the connector at bottom is barely sticking out. 510 connectors need to have a .174 or a bit shorter length, era has .185 in length that 11 thou makes a huge difference.

I will also like to add another point as to why using metal washers is superior, they dont budge! Ive read of people using o-rings to take up the slack, this is a bad idea because you can still overtighten them causing a short.

The method I used is this:

While holding the firing button on the REO, I screwed on the ERA. The moment it started firing I took it off. Then I added metal washers starting with 3. It wouldnt fire. So I removed 1 washer and tried again, it worked. So 2 washers was enough.

With metal washers, you can achieve that nice snug tight fit with out it wobbling around, but like I said every mod is different..

I did the same. Fits nice and no movement. My REO's are happy :)

I dropped a dash 013 oring in the catch cup of the Reo Grand and that worked. It stooped the ERA frim being screwed down too far ands firmed up the fit. Now it's tight, stable and no fear of shorting.

Does anyone else have an issue with the ERA leaking? My catch cup seems to mysteriously fill up on its own, eventually spilling over.

The problem is, I cant tell where its coming from. I checked the double-o ring on the ERA and they look brand new, and I made sure not to get any wick stuck when installing the cap. Only other places it could leak would be through the 510 threads or through the post gasket.
