Got my ERA today. My first coil is 6 wraps @ 2.3Ω. I'm running it at 4.6 volts under load on the VV Grand. It vapes very nice!

Here it is! Bottom feed setup like Tey Gajitos from the phillipines does.
What u need
-I'm using 30 g kanthal to get the lr I want and the surface area I need for good vape to soak ratio
-Six era cap lengths of wick
-torch
-wire cutters
-tweezers (not pictured)
-era
-reo (lol)

Get your wick fold it in half nice and even then fold it again. Keeping it nice and even. Get your kanthal, whatever gauge you are using and wrap to desired resistance. I did four of 30g wich will land me in the 1.4 neighborhood

Torch your wick and wire before mounting

Mount coil n wick onto era. Make sure u use the top holes and juice feed is right below your coil. While you hold wick in place with your thumb tighten the grub screw with Allen wrench. This needs attention, do not over tighten as it will cut your wires on both sides, snug it and tighten a bit till you see your wire tails slightly move up

Spread your coil out nice and even

Once om your reo make sure your air hole is directly in from of your coil. This is crucial if you want it to perform like its supposed to

Squonk with you cap off so you can get an idea how much you need to squonk whenever you are dry. Fire it a couple of times to see vapor produced. After that. Vape your face off!!!!!

As you can see in the vid. It blows clouds. The draw in it is perfect just how I like it, loose, hope this helps any questions feel free to ask, credits on the wick setup go to Tey Gajitos.
Oh yeah 50/50 bluemist vaping caramel tobacco with an aw 18650 batt.

Hello,

Can somebody say me if they make the ERA work on the Reo Mini finally ?
I think I understand the ERA do not fit in the Juice cup, but the pin is much longer and can make contact.
Is it possible to push the tube above the bottle in order to put the center pin more higher in the Reo ?

This is what Alice came up with to use her ERA's on her Reo Mini Woodvil. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a metal Reo Mini or any of the other Woodvils either. Way to go, Alice.

All you need is one unsealed 510 - 510 adapter to raise the connection so the ERA will fit and make contact and one eGo shorty cone to slip over the adapter for a finished appearance. (vendor links provided are for illustration. adapters and eGo cones can be bought from dozens of different vendors)

ok folks, how important is it to torch your wick and coil before use and if it really is where do i find a small torch like in these pics. i dont wanna get a big tank type torch

I'm not sure torching is really needed. After I made the coiled wick I soaked in PGA for any hour and then blotted dry, then put on ERA. No bad taste and I'm really sensitive to anything that alters the taste. I did put some juice on it and did a few short dry burns first. It only took a few for the coil to turn black.
