Yeah I saw the Beta clone... Looks a little wonky with the posts, screws and such. Supposedly there is a 1:1 UT clone incoming in 2 weeks time. I'll def be buying one of those! With only 100 authentics (I believe that's the count) grabbing a $260 authentic is impossible!
Is there anyplace to pick up the Earl mini clone anymore? I know FT stopped making them and i really wanted a mini to play around with before purchasing an authentic Prinz.
I'll need to read through this thread and figure out all this "Erl-" shenanigans. I'm giving up on my KFv4 and need another, top-filling, single coil rta to hold me over until i can snag an Ubertoot UTA.

I've been waiting for them to restock, but they (FT representatives) are not sure what's going on. You still can't buy it, there's no add to cart option, but "discontinued" status has been changed to "ships in two days."
Judging by the feedback of some users regarding leaking through the 510 connector, I'm not sure if a full-sized clone plus the conversion kit wouldn't be a safer option?

As for the beta Uber clone, you can fix the positive post. The negative I'll have to live with if it shows up all crooked.

Only a small number have been released so far. The big launch has been delayed because apparently the machine work wasn't up to par. And I have to admit, more than $200 for an atty will probably be a deal breaker for me. It doesn't matter that I'll have my income tax return. I just think some of the prices are getting ridiculous. I saw one on ebay sell for over $2k in the UK. Seriously? There is no vape gear worth that to me.
It's an uber high end "Kayfun killer" that's 100% designed and manufactured in the UK. Tod(Mark) has a gushing review on it if you check his channel. It's my most lusted after device but I too can't see shelling out the ~$260 for it!
I've done this with one of my full size Erlk clones...just slap on the nano chimney (and tank) and it's good to go.

Seriously--how much better can it really be? Every new RBA has been called by someone a Kayfun killer, including the Lemo. I mean, it's a coil, a wick and a tank... I know experienced vapers who are going back to dripping on 510 and 306 atties and claim it's just as good as anything else.
The more things change...
I'm just looking for a smallish RBA--well designed and user friendly. I don't sub-ohm, I don't want anything with a huge airflow. I'm not into exotic coil builds. Basically, I want a Kayfun-style RBA that will give me a bit more airflow options than the Kayfun does and no leaks, no whistling, maybe top-filled.
Why can't somebody make one?

Katya, no it doesn't fit. The nano PC tank is too wide for the HuanYing base. The nano chimney theads on to the HuanYing base though. I'm encountering some leaking from the AFC ring now, so SKU2074900 will be benched until I finish my taxes

Thanks, Pete. I was afraid of that. I wrote to FT and asked them, but they are taking forever.
I'm still hoping that they will bring the nano kit back; if not, I'll just frankenstein one. Not sure which big one to get though.

What I really want is a Lemo V2--20-22mm diameter, no Evic skirt, better AFC...
Katya, you should look at the Lemo Drop. It ticks all your boxes except top fill. IMO it has better flavor than the Kayfun, a bigger deck that's easier to build and a wide range of airflow options.

Thanks, Roxy--this one is on my list above; it doesn't have the DT adapter, but I guess I can live with that.
I've been looking at the Lemo Drop for months now--hoping for a V2. That skirt and the 23 mm diameter kept me from getting one (I hate overhangs
).But maybe it's time for me to just get one...
