Just havin' some fun
Some people are wound up just a bit too tight. The same type of people are joining the DNA200 threads preaching doom'n'gloom like a Jehovah's witness about the evils of Satan... er... Lipo batteries. I've been very close to un-subscribing to those threads.
I stopped reading that thread on page 4 or 5.
My only problem with the dna 200 and lipos are the idiots that will be using it and have no freaking idea of how to properly take care of their mod.
If I could, I would use my 6S 5000mah lipos in a heart beat... Well maybe not as each weights over a pound and is over 10 inches long lol.

Finally received my clone today but I can't get the top cap off the tank. The drip tip and the round piece under that came off fine, but the piece on top of the tank will not budge!!
Any ideas?

Use the top most part to grab it. Push down just a bit and if needed put a wash cloth or something on it to help you spin it off so it doesn't hurt your fingers.
I had difficulty getting with the short 510 positive pin in my istick50. I tried the credit card positive post spacer trick (used two pieces), which seemed to help a little, but resistance reading is jumping around. I double checked the connection of my coil, which seemed fine. Is the jumping around because of the connection to the I stick? Seems like maybe it's not quite reaching? (Same problem with my ohm reader)
On a positive note, the flavor is amazing! I just need to get these kinks worked out so I can fully enjoy it!

Connect the mod via the 510-Ego adapter included with your iStick. If the connection problems go away, then your issues are probably due to the spring-loaded 510 connector in the iStick.
So if someone is debating between the Erlk clone ($20) and an authentic ErlP ($45), which one would you guys recommend? Not looking for fanboy commentary, more just what's the advantage of one over the other. For example, does the ErlP use a better glass or plastic than the clone Erlk? One thing I don't like about the ErlP is they removed the part on top that allows you to twist the top off (as I understand it).
Also, if one does the FT clone, which of the umpteen offerings seems to have the best outcomes?

I would get the erlp just because the plastic tank on mine is in use since October 14th 2014 for 24/7 with very hard menthol juices and it's as good as new.
I tried a fasttech nano plastic tank for the clone and it lasted two days before cracking.
My erlp has paid itself off 20 times by now. It's all I use every day except some occasional dripping at night.

The stock air flow hole is 2mm on the erlp while the erlk and clones is only 1.6mm

You could also try 1 or 2 circuit board spacers from Mad Vapes. You just put it in the mod's 510 as an extra metal spacer.
I'm not seeing my FT clone on there anymore, but this has a lot of reviews and comes with a SS tank also and a dt adaptor.

I guess that helps justify a purchase I made last night of a turtle ship v2 clone on eBay! ; ) I love the form factor of tube mods (this is my first, and I like the design of the v2), and I liked the idea of getting something that could go real small. Hopefully, the 510 connector in it will work with the erlk.
