I am without my Erlk clone as well as the IPV2 that it was sitting on. The wife decided she wanted it after using it in the car today.
She gave me her Hana clone with a Taifun in return. I have TGT's out the ying yang.........so I ordered a couple more Erlk's from FT and a sigelei 100watt box.
I was looking for an excuse anyway.
My wife still likes stinky's, I'd really like to change that.

Be thankful she is taking your vape gear. I'm trying to get my wife to quit the analogs. She tries to vape but very half heartedly. I even built her a real DNA20 box mod, got her a real KFL+, clone Taifun GT and a Nautilus with BVC's, oh and the whole set of frog drip tips from FT (frogs are her "thing" ) as well as buy her higher nic juice AND have started mixing her very own DIY juice in her 12mg level.....And she still won't commit to vaping!

And the icing is whenever I make her taste an ejuice from me, or try a new tank I got, she goes thru the whole choking scene all over again.... it's not all bad, she tries to vape - she just doesn't want to stop smoking real cigarettes :(

You're lucky.

In four years of me vaping (with a pause in between) my wife has NEVER even tried a puff EVER!

True she's rather a social smoker so a pack of cigs lasts her about two weeks but not even one puff to try out in four years?

At least yours tried it out...

It's not perfect. Due to a short center pin, it doesn't fire on my ZNA's but I'm not complaining.

I think the short pin isn't an issue with just the clones. PBusardo also had this issue on his authentic. I just pulled up the center pin on my mods and it works.

What? To measure the diameter of my mandrel and then toss it in a drawer and never use it again? Nah, I think I'll pass. But thanks anyway.

It's always good to have a precision measuring device. Or not.

Ok so I think I finally figured out the problem with my clone over the weekend. Seems my top O Ring (the big one on the top cap) had a very small imperfection on it that was causing the vacuum to leak. I'm talking a very small imperfection, like a tiny little scratch on it. But somehow this was allowing air to escape. I built it on friday and everything was going good, until I started to notice a bubble at the very top of the tank where it seals. So I held it upside down for a while, and probably 10 minutes later I saw another bubble form, and a tiny amount of eliquid start to show on the side. The Erl wasn't even leaking at this point because I had been chain vaping it to not allow juice to over wick. So I emptied it all out, and then last night when I was back home and had access to my spare O Rings I replaced it with one of the extras and then rebuilt everything. I don't see any more potential leak at the top, and its still going since last night with no flooding.

Fingers crossed. I really hope it stays performing like this. Only concern is that I keep seeing bubbles forming at the juice channel on one side, even when I'm not vaping it. It seems to be just one bubble after another. I hope thats not a sign of overwicking and then flooding. But it sat overnight and seemed just fine this morning, so is that normal for the Erl?

Lesson learned. Even the tiniest imperfection causing an imperceptible leak will make the Erl flood like crazy.

I had a similar issue with the o-ring on the top of the chimney (captured in the top cap). I installed a #60 o-ring and that solved the problem. I bought a package of #60 o-rings at Lowe's (similar to Home Depot) to put under the 510 pin on mods that don't have adjustable or spring loaded pins.

Is there a new o ring size I could buy at Lowes that would fit more snug at the fill ports? I'm thinking I should probably buy some spare o rings of each size, do you know the number or whatever of each o ring size?

Also what about the build deck screws, is there one at Lowes I could get that will fit? I just noticed last night that my screws on the build deck are already tarnished. So I'm guessing they're not stainless steel on this clone, and I'd really prefer to have stainless steel screws on the deck.

Well in that case, I'll trade you three PAPS clones for that original PAPS. ;)

As for the ZNA problem, I have two suggestions. Both cost money.
$22 Option 1, Hybrid Kit: Z-1
$15 Option 2, adjustable 510 screw: Z2.2 510 Upgrade Kit – ElectronicStix.Com

Now if you lied, and you're actually using a ZNA clone...don't worry, these work on both the Robbot and the Hotcig version. :) (well, the hybrid kit anyways, I don't know if the 510 adapter works on the hotcig ZNA, but it's supposed to be adjustable right out of the box.)

Edit: I tried to resist, I really did, but I went and ordered that dang hybrid kit. Looks like my Kayfun clones and Heron clones might get to play on my Robbot ZNA every once in a while. I don't imagine a 21 mm atty on a 22 mm hybrid looks great.

PLANofMAN you're a lifesaver! Thanks for that link to ElectronicStix. I just ordered two adjustable 510 screws for my pair of ZNA's (genuine). The black ZNA clone I was about to ask for a refund for, but discovered that it had a two-piece 510 screw...duh! Here's the three ZNA's together:

I've been hoping my ex would stop smoking the stinkies, so I bring a different mod every time I see her, hoping she'll ask to try one. But she won't quit until she truly wants to. Your name reminds me of this palindrome: A man, a plan, a canal. Panama.

Remember the clone o-rings on the top cap don't appear to be of the same size of the authentic and by looking at several different clones, they don't appear to have the same sized o-rings among each other either so be aware when buying o-rings for yours.

I have no idea. I bought the #60 o-rings for 510 pins and it was a tight fit but worked on the chimney.

Your kit didn't come with extra screws and o-rings? Are you sure it's tarnish and not juice residue?

Bubbles are a good thing and yes, the authentic does it as well. It's just the pressure equalizing. However, it should stop. It shouldn't continue to do it on and on and on.

I typically tilt mine to help the bubbles escape. I also leave the wick ring off to help the bubbles escape even more.

...but it used to? Your first post in this thread said all authentic parts fit on the clone, but that the clone's chimney did not fit on the authentic.

Jax, could you expound on this a little more. I ordered a authentic nano kit for my silver box clone because I too thought you said the original parts fit the clone but not the other way????

Guess I'll be dishing out some serious bucks for a real Erlk if this is the case because I also have some IBTanks that don't fit the clone either.....:(

It looked like tarnish to me because after I rinsed it looked clean and the tarnish only appears in the areas I couldn't dry well (inside the thread screws and screw head). It did come with spares, but I'm down one now lol, I was mainly wondering if there was a different size that would fit more snug around the fill port. I guess I can keep juicing them a little to keep them in place.

Jax the bubbles are pretty much constant, even 12 hours after I filled. Its not excessive, just one after the other. As soon as one bubble goes up theres another one forming. I can't help but worry theres still a tiny leak somewhere, but I guess 12 hours and no flooding should be a good enough sign everything is working for now.

I'm really going to be interested in getting the new Prinz once they're back on sale. This is the best performing tank with this thick liquid I've ever used. I'm just a little hesitant to trust this clone ;)

The nano kit fits the clones. That's been confirmed by several people. As for the IBTanked glass, flipping the glass over sometimes works, as does using smaller o-rings.

Hmm, I'm quite surprised that it is not flooding then.

Thanks for answering WooPigSooie in my absence PoM.
