There's a bunch of new ones hitting the market so it's hard to say but the silver box ones (I got mine from FT) seem to be good overall. My only issue was the chimney o-ring was too small (?) but adding a #60 o-ring fixed it.

I have another one coming from FC but it's been 3 weeks so who knows when I'll get that one.

I tried 2 different sizes, 2mm and 2.4mm. Raised and lowered them. Different juices. I had no issues with this type of coil on my KF's or dripper. My KF's are very smooth, not slurping, wet feeling or loud. When I first got it, it wasn't as bad but I was going thru about 30-50% more juice than on my KF's.

I really wanted to like this atomizer but so far, the cons far out-weigh the pros for me. I will try again later after my frustration subsides (and I want a challenge). For now, I'm happy with my KF's.

Why would we not be friends? Because you like inferior atomizers? :p
Well on the bright side, you will find no apple crap near my house :D

Honestly I don't think it's inferior. I used kfls before this one and I retired my kfl. Can it be finky? I guess it can but so can my wife and I still love her ;)

Honestly, it doesn't look as bad when its wet. So I have an idea. Nothing makes me feel worse than ruining a generous gift. We will make it the ECF PIF Erlk sampler :). Give me a couple weeks to get past newbie wicking issues and evaluate it, and then I will pass it along to the next person who wants to try one. And when s/he has had some time to play with it, pass it along to the next person.

And those of us who like it can pony up for an Erlp or the big gun. And those who don't are only out about $2.50 to ship to the next member.

A KF, any KF, pales in comparison to the vape one gets with an ErlK. Wicking dear friends. WICKING!

From my experience, I would disagree.

This thing is bothering me as to why I'm having so many problems. I looked at it again and lifted the coil up another mm to about 3mm(?), re-wicked it just like your pics on the other thread. I mean exactly like yours. Filled it up w/o the afc ring in place and it flooded a bit in the chamber but not out the air holes. I turned it upside down to blow out the juice and got a few drops in my mouth. Yuck. Then I rolled up a tissue and stuck it down the drip tip all the way to the coil to pick up the remaining juice. Much less popping after a few pulls and it's quieter. Still not KF quiet but much better than before. It hasn't flooded or given me a wet vape yet. Slowly getting better but still not a KF, let alone better than one.

If someone wants to try it next, PM me. If no one does and thinks used attys are gross, then I will vape it with pride :)

I caused this problem by disinfecting it, lol! Obviously the plastic needs washed with Dawn antibacterial soap only though.

PM Sent. I'd definitely like to give this thing a go.

Dude? You sound just like me about 1/3 through the authentic thread. I fought with the wicking on the ErlK. As have many others. Just ask member Thejack1. He traded me his ErlK for my SQr because he just could not wick the ErlK properly. Guess what. He now owns another ErlK and loves it.

Don't go by my images or anyone else's. I tried that. Doesn't work! Learn from your own mistakes. Experiment. I found what works for me. You can too.*

Perhaps it is because I owned an authentic but I was bound and determined to get it working properly before I brushed it off. My determination paid off, in spades! The ErlK is the only tank I will own until something better comes out.

KF killer? Indeed!

That's it. That's all I have to say about that.

*unless, of course, your clone under performs

I said something similar 300 pages back.

Most authentic work better than their clones not necessarily because they're better made but because their owners spend more time getting them to work right.

It's not the same bining a $10 stubborn atty or admitting having bought a $180 paperweight... The motivation to make it work is much greater in the latter.

My two cents

Guys, make fun of me all you want....compare it to toilets, whatever.......I don't care.... I personally have zero interest in "sharing" an atomizer with others, especially a clone that can be had for a more than reasonable $16, the cost of an inexpensive bottle of juice.
Yeah, I know - Call me crazy :p
