All kidding aside, maybe you should send that to Imeo for closer examination. Whatever the reason (short or low resistance), there shouldn't be any plastic pieces within a mech mod to melt like that.
If it turns out to be a user error, everyone should be informed of what not to do. If it is a design issue, it should be fixed.
Let's try to get this addressed properly before it gets out of hand.
I want to inform you that today morning a good friend from a Greek forum, as he was cleaning Esterigon, forgot to put the width plastic inside the collector tank, and automatically the button popped out with his plastic in the same condition as Kotso's.
I don't wanna say that Kotso did the same thing... just saying that we must be carefull as we clean and then assemble our mechanical mods.

No offense to any one, but this is common sense: without the isolation parts, short circuit is 100% granted!!
After all, it's a mechanical mod, so extra caution from user is a must to avoid dangerous situations. However, .... happen to everyone

the plastic of the button was in bad condition because i forgot to lock the mod in my pocket!!! 2 days later the plastic began to break like this!this is my fault! Iam really sure that i assembled it the right way.did that for about 10 times till i have esterigon to clean contacts etc.the fat oring from the bottom got damaged as i wanted to disassemble the bottom cap so i just put in a thinner one but device cant lock the same way as with the original one.
be careful when you put the brass center posts in place kotso. They have to be straight

Imeo what is the word for Tilemahos can you give any more details? I was wondering if it has it's own air flow control or it use's the Esterigon's air flow I hope both. I have been hesitant on doing a review (Don't kill me) because to be completely honest I love my Ithaka and with the new re-buildable part my coils and some rayon wick its just perfect. But I don't like the way it looks with the two airflow controls it works great Ithaka with Esterigon is what I have been using exclusively since I bought it but I don't like the look. The difference in size doesn't even bug me. I know you don't want to spill the beans (Give away any secrets) but maybe a little info Thanks Adam
I decided to make 3 bases Adam. The one is the simple one and its made for esterigon that already has air control and makes the esterigon-tilemahos combo as short as possible
The second base is made for all the other mods and it has its own air control. The nice thing is that this base makes Tilemahos only 4mm longer!
The third base is a hybrid base for esterigon
Customers will be able to buy Tilemahos with the first or the second base. The third base is optional and it makes esterigon Tilemahos even shorter

i don´t like non ceramic attys so far...but the idea with a native connection for esterigon is brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!
is it safe to assume that the hybrid mode will be compatible with the electronic module as well??
