The same story in horology : the makers tend to increase the size of the watches cause a flat, small and reliable chronograph or complicated movement is considerably more difficult and expensive to conceive and produce than a 12 or 13 lines one, same story for waterproofness or the perception of quality due to the weight alone..
The marketing guys spoke about 'tendances' , or a population increasing in height (in a decade) : knowing the public spotted (mostly asia) with their relative small wrist size, they simply lie and show how well they consider the final customer (bling+lack of culture = easy money) from my point of view

I see it exactly like this corona. And because I dont like to follow the wave, I make what really people want and not what others push other people to need. I dont create needs, I give to us what we really want.
Personally, I need a very special thin device that is very user friendly and that can do more than bigger ones can. On our world, the smaller is better. On sexual world, the bigger is better lol

Proteus video about how electronics are made is ready and I will post it in a while. You will see what I mean by the word "user friendly electronics" and "electromechanical devices"

At a certain point of the evolution of net we reached, at the point of fame and jealousy your reach too, you could expect as much critics with the release of a classical mech mod in 26 size or the millionth multi18-sized one with front button, than you'll meet with your proprietary electronical 14 small mod with led traducing 2 years of development ;) the important on the web is often to be the first to speak, critics works well, even if based on rumors or photos, with no delay, no distance from day to day use (how many 'experts' on the web in various domains, who never even put their hands on the devices ?)

For me, 18500 sized mech mod with upper side button, in a better quality/less plastic / afc direct construction than you'll meet in actuals lab-dingo/poldiac/69 is perfect for everyday life, even the slight smaller diameter is a subtle turn : i'm probably unobjective, its major quality will be to be born as a GG mod, most of the innovations are hidden and discovered later, part of the pleasure ;)

Let the time speaks, involvment in conception, honesty in making and good dna for inputs are the best bases. Your goal to 'satisfy every vaper' is noble but must consider some vapers are by nature impossible to satisfy !

Thank you for your post Corona. What I really want is to show people that there is another way to vape, the way that they always wanted but they couldnt have it. A thin device that can do exactly what they want, a device very user friendly, a device that will not bring them problems, a device that is thin and small.

Days where we were trying to make our e-cigs last longer by putting big batteries inside, passed. Trog did it first because batteries of thin China atomizers 5 years before didnt have the power to let us vape more than 10 mins and NOT in a stable way. We now have the technology to go further than fat devices. We now want nice devices that we can handle easily. Fat devices belong to the past for me.

jeeeeez, plenty of reactions ... that's cool ;)
Don't get me wrong gents ...
The mod I use everyday at work is a 18350 tube, with a kick set at 11 watts, and a kayfun running a 1,3 ohm coil: it's small, it's regulated, and good enough for a full day without changing the battery. So as you can see, I like small regulated stuff, and the Proteus is gonna be the king of small and regulated category of mods. I purchased 2 proteus because it's gonna be my main on the go device.
Once at home, I usually (chain)vape on DNA30 box mod, with a Taifun or Ithaka or whatever tank i want to play with: it's powerfull if I need power, plenty of juice and plenty of batteries available. Here again, estirigon will replace those bulky devices, fingers in the nose :)
Estirigon in 18650 with a good battery will even alow me to make some crazy/childish/ridiculous cloud chasing session if I wish so once in a wile (so far, never enjoyed anything above 14 watts) ...
I was just curious about the reason behind Imeo's non-mainstream approach, and my understanding is that it allow great design (no matter what, a 26650 can't be beautiful to my eyes), and the electronic provides an optimized battery usage and great vape experience. Plus the cloud chaser isn't the main GG's target ;)
Thanks for those answers, I'm more and more happy with my GG stuff, and can't wait to get proteus and estirigon ;)

I only want to correct one your thoughts mon:)

Clouds of vapor is one of my main purposes, thats why I made electronics.

Also,
Size is one more of my main purposes, thats why I made Proteus
Clever design and user friendly devices is one more of my main purposes, thats why I made electronics the way you see on video

I stopped wearing watches more than 10 years ago, when I realized that the only watch that look sexy to me wasn't in my budget. It's a Jaegger-Lecoultre super slim, and I find rolex, breitling etc kinda gross ... So I concure with that analogy ;)

The apogee of flat chronograph have been reached in the late 1940's, the ultraflat simple watches were first produced in small series in the end 50's with shock absorber devices, if you want to go further one day in knowing, you'll discover some beautiful old watches are totally in your budget, for a fraction of the steel version of the JlC 'master ultrathin' you met . . I sincerely wish you to, anyway ;)

As one idiot french guy once said: If you don't have a Rolex by the time you reach 50, then you have failed in your life.
I'll succeed my life in a more elegant way: with an estirigon and maybe an Omega ;)

I'd appreciate if you can drop me a few references of those watches. PM me so we can stop this off-topic discussion ;)

I want to clarify something:
When we add in future electronic to JGG,in order to be as close in size to Esterigon,
We will need to use 18350??
I ask becouse I don't want to go bigger when using JGG with electronic then Esterigon total size.

Edit one more thing:
Is there any problem to use 18490?
Or better keep 18500?

justGG is longer by 0,5mm than esterigon Its. If thats an issue, we can make different electronic part for justGG than Proteus.

We have 2 solutions here

1. We leave electronic part as it is and we make a new engraved tube for justGG without its button. That way we will have a justGG like a fat Proteus
2. We leave justGG as it is and we change the software on electronic part. That way we still use justGG button for vaping and electronic part button for the rest of functions.

Proteus electronics are made in a flexible way to accept possibilities. Its not just a simple electronic part

Option 2 option 2 option 2.
Lol I like my engrave tubes a lot :)

But I ask more specific:
When you will add electronic to Esterigon it will stay the same size right? With 18500. Becouse of it's designe.
When we will add electronic to JGG it will take 1.5-2 CM the added part.
So we will need to use 18350 to be no longer then Esterigon is that correct ?
