Help needed. Esterigon's bottom cap is getting warm while firing at one edge. I'm using Tilemahos with hybrid base and Sony VTC4 battery. Coil is around 1 Ohm, arrow (Bishop's) build. Maybe some dirt somewhere? I've cleaned all of the brass contacts with mesh.

i had the same problem
i use the battery upside down, and i removed the o-ring from the buttom cap.
i am speaking about the o-ring on the threads
Tried that, same problem.
Tried to change tube with 18500 and use AW IMR 18490, same problem.
Tried different atty, to exclude Tilemahos problem, same again.
Anything else i could check?
my thought was, the bottom cap is getting warm, because there are high contact resistances.
after i removed the o-ring i was able to tighten the threads and the problem was solved.
do you screw well the lock cap and the venting cap to the body S1?
Is the post of the lock cap clean?

I have bought Esterigon second hand, and have cleaned everything except the lock and venting cap.
Cleaned it now and it seems that all is well

I struggle to tighten my bottom cap up so I removed the oring also
I now tighten the bottom cap tight with a thick elastic band so I can still use the lock function with out it all comin undone

Thank you my austrian friend, as you know i am for holiday in your beautiful country on new years day.
I don't see me as a pro vaper, just a gg lover who wants to help all gg lovers to enjoy there devices. I just share what i learned, that's all.
Just being grateful my friend (s) - without you I would probably still vape in the "stoneage"
would be still using what the hell - I don't know what - and for sure it would have taken me a lot longer to find out about the magic of GG ... and without kissing asses here ... good that there are devices out there that just do their job at a reasonable price and even have a unique beauty & design ... because that was also a reason to keep me away from smoking cigarettes ... yes I had that habit for over 32 years (and there hasn't been a single day since I started vaping that I miss smoking ... ) and that's what counts ... anyway I am following your tracks and pass on what I have learned ... just yesterday I held a lecture on using originals - and of course using GG
... as you - I am also just more than happy with GOD's GIFTS ... we can discuss whatever we want - but in the end I always remember that sentence ... "They just work" ...Geeee ... since I ordered more "FORCES" yesterday ... it feels like in my childhood around XMAS time ... waiting for the bell to ring to enter the room with the tree and the presents ... next vape mail is going to be awesome ... Love the AC ring on GG4S that prevents it from rolling. Anything we could have something similar for Esterigon?
yes, why not Seek. But Esterigon doesnt roll because of its button if I am not mistaken.
