As you all know once you start vaping it becomes a hobby and you want anything and everything. Well I finally made it one month without buying anything but now I want something new! I know I know the provari is amazingggg but with all the new stuff coming out I feel I kinda missed the boat on that one. Do you think I should get the evic, still get the provari even though I'm super late, or wait till something new comes out!? (VW provari maybe :) ). Does anyone know of anything killer coming out? Please advice would be great!

Evic is nice but geared more towards trying to cut down your vaping. Puff counter puff limit etc. I honestly would say hold off if you don't want to buy more then one

I'd say more geared towards people not into higher powered vaping. I don't think a lot of eVic owners use the puff counter.

My puff counter doesn't even transfer my data properly to my MVR and I could care less. I am sure I could fix it but haven't even tried. As for the high powered thing I haven't even found anything to use the 11 watts with. I can't get anything over 8.5 without burning the juice. So I am not sure what 15 watts would be for. I am fairly new though so maybe there is a whole different set up I don't know about.

But everybody still raves about the Provari so it must be doing something right OP. Don't have one myself might look into it one day.

I agree I don't know how all these people are always complaining about power. I have like 8 vv ecigs that go up to 6v and don't think I ever go above 4.5 (which is rare) without it totally burning everything! And I've been vaping for 10 months so I'm not a newb ;)

I stay in the 7.5 to 8.5 watt range so the eVic serves me just fine. The provari is pretty awesome too, it's just about 210 dollars of awesome if it's your first apv.

As for evic hate, it's one of two things.

1. They initially advertised as 15 watts but switched to 11 after it turned out to be wrong. Add the recall to this.

I don't have an issue but I guess if you bought it early and wanted 11-15 watts you could. As for the recall, it's a good thing, it's a more consistent method than having dealers having to make the call ala the vamo. A lot of new devices have issues like the vamo's, not picking on it, battery connection and spring issues or the evic's bad button...I'd rather be communicated with than read about it on here and try to figure out what the hell I have.

2. It's about as much of a mass market APV as there is...some people are looking to hate anything like that, kind of a e-cig hipster thing.

Not sure if you are aware but ProVape has blemished V2's in their clearance section right now at great prices. Many have said they had to search carefully to find the blemish on their purchase. My blem satin black V2 will be here in just a few hours! I've had my satin blue for about 4 months and it has been flawless, it's reputation as a work horse drove my decision to buy the first, it's rock solid regulation drove the decision to buy another as a back up.

I also have a VAMO on order to see if all the hype about VW is really all that. To be honest with some of the failure reports I see trickling in I dont have much faith in it for durability.

I must confess I know nothing about the eVic beyond what I saw in the two pbusardo vids and it looked a bit gimicky to me. The updatable firmware is neat, but I'm not sure how they will use it, these are not doing complex jobs they supply voltage to an atomizer.

Yea I hear that. Do the provari's really last all day? They say whatever mah it is the first two numbers are the hours (after 1,000mah of course) but that can't be true. I have a varitube x and I'm lucky to get 7 hours on a 2200mah battery, I have multiple 18650's so don't say it's the battery. (maybe I vape too much?) so far the ONLY thing I have to barely last the day, but it does last the day is my varicool from smoktek which runs the 2 14500's. I need a device to easily last a day!

Depends. I was getting real good battery life when I ran single coil cartos, when I ran out and went back to my dual coil carts I noticed the reduction in battery life. Now I'm using a DiD clone and battery life seems better again. I'm using AW 2000mah IMR's and doubt I get 20hrs of run time probably closer to 15-18.
