Sooooo provari? Lol
I just don't see what can be so much different, if it's putting out the volts it's putting out the volt, right? I understand its more accurate but who cares if you have to up the volts .2 to reach what it's supposed to? I am really curious cause people make it seem like it's a totally different vape! Tempting but idk why!!!

the simple fact is provape has the best customer service in this industry, if it breaks they will fix it, if they upgrade the chipset, just send in your old one for an upgrade.
they will withstand abuse that will cripple other mods and do it all day. and yea .2 v is important, do you want to keep resetting your mod as the battery gets weaker and dropping you off your sweet spot? or do you want to find your sweet spot and be done with it till the battery dies.
as i always say yes im a fan but the best is subjective, so get waht you like and save up for a provari.
as for something new with the new chips?
heh i want a VW SvoёMesto

I'd say the delivery system is going to have more of an influence. If your not already into RBA, I'd suggest looking into it. Can be a decent learning curve, but the results are unbeatable.

The Provari is very consistent, from fresh battery to low. Same vape from beginning to end. This is a big point for some owners.

It can support down to .9Ω coils, which I think is the lowest of the VV PVs.

Those are the only ones I can think of that really pertain to the vapor production end of things. Though, not my entire set of reasoning behind one.

Reliability & construction are what did it for me. After messing up an eGo here and there, I needed something stronger. No more loose buttons, wiggling connectors, fear of it breaking from a mild fall. eGos are tough, and not terribly difficult to fix the minor issues, but it just kept happening. At $20-25 each, already on my 3rd I was already in the price range of a decent mod, but had been eyeing the Vari for awhile. They then started offering the blemished and I went for it.

Affordable future upgrades are another. I think its $20-25 and they'll update your provari (not including the atheistic improvements of v2.5). When they drop the V3, any V1 & V2 owner can have it. They don't have to buy the mod all over again.

1 year warranty, with 2 year available. Some match it, I've only seen one other that beats it (can't remember which mod, lifetime transferable warranty though).
Wait so they'll always upgrade it? What if the upgrade doesn't fit the v2 (that is the newest one right? There's no v2.5?)

As you all know once you start vaping it becomes a hobby and you want anything and everything
    .

You know, that's the way it must Seem here on the forum, but there are many thousands of us that are quite happy with just an ego or cig-like. Probably more of us than the "hobbyist " types.

This place is a shopping center, like going to the mall. I like helping others get started, but it's not great when I see them getting trapped in the "newest and greatest" mind-frame.

    Just a little rant there................:)

Yea what's the deal with rba's been seeing them pop up more and more but they seem like a pain, what makes them so much better? It seems like it's the same thing you'd buy that's already premade but instead you have to make it yourself and it's more expensive lol

Cost savings, complete control & so far improved flavor for me.

There is a lot of tinkering, but its all pretty simple (especially using the Petar K drill-bit method of wrapping coils). The dripping RBA are a touch easier than the Genesis style (these use a stainless steel mesh, which can cause shorts with the coil, etc).

But when even with things like the CE5 or Vivi Nova, you can rebuild the heads for cents, instead of buying a new one for $1.99 or whatever they are going for.

There is the added benefit of consistency (especially with those CE5/VVN heads, as they lack it stock).

Plus that "hey I just did that!" feeling.

the 2.5 is a different milled tube, no internal upgrade.
and yes when ProV went from V1 to V2 it was a simple upgrade that got you a new amp limit a couple new components, and in some cases depending on the age some people got a refurbishing out of the deal for no more cost then the standard upgrade price of $20
I talk to them constantly and I have never seen customer service like theirs they do care, and they want to make sure we are happy with the quality and consistency. and they absolutly stand behind the provari 100% no ifs ands or buts
heck they replied on Christmas day! i thought it would be a few days, nope cecilia emailed me within 3 hours-try that with a vamo.

Even getting "trapped" into the latest and greatest I have still saved money (and I buy everything) and am healthier. I'm a techy guy so who cares! I'm the same way with phones, computers, tablets, etc.
    it's a fun hobby :)

I only see the v2 on their website. What if they change the size though for a v3 and won't fit into a v2, would they still upgrade it for $25? Do you need an extended warranty for the upgrade or it's just included with anyone with a provari cause I don't see anything on the site about it?

As you all know once you start vaping it becomes a hobby and you want anything and everything. Well I finally made it one month without buying anything but now I want something new! I know I know the provari is amazingggg but with all the new stuff coming out I feel I kinda missed the boat on that one. Do you think I should get the evic, still get the provari even though I'm super late, or wait till something new comes out!? (VW provari maybe :) ). Does anyone know of anything killer coming out? Please advice would be great!

If you haven't tried vw and are interested then why not pick up a vw mod? There's quite a few to choose from - the eVic as you know with the software functions. The Anyvape CVI could be good - initial reviews/user reports are good for it. Thinking I'll pick up one or two myself.
These new vw mods also have vv - so you can vape in vv if you want as well.

The Provari is vv only, and has good CS. Whether you can get it upgraded for cheap if they bring out a new version is debatable. They did that once when they increased the amp limit on v2. I don't think they have said they will always do that for any upgrade. If they have maybe some-one could post a link to that.

I agree but i would suspect with the current state of sales they arent going to deviate from the current tube design, so it would stand to reason "if" they make a VW it will be the same body. and will "most likely" be upgradeable.
pure speculation going on provapes past but if a new comes out even then i would still get one.

the 2.5 is in the wild already and pics are filtering out now, the upgrade and repair info is in the contact us section. and the current upgrade is for anyone. you can also buy an extended 2 year warranty. i bought a V1 in the classies and sent it in with a 20 dollar bill in the box now i have a V2 chrome w blu led :)

there is also a list for out of war repairs

Personally, I would go for the Provari. I have an eVic on order, but I got it off a co-op for $40. I wouldn't pay the $100+ sellers are offering it for. The Provari at twice the price, is 10 times better. Puff count? I agree with the PBusaro video where he says displaying the watts would make more sense than a useless gadget.

I agree I don't know how all these people are always complaining about power. I have like 8 vv ecigs that go up to 6v and don't think I ever go above 4.5 (which is rare) without it totally burning everything! And I've been vaping for 10 months so I'm not a newb ;)

I belive the new update that can be downloaded means the watts can be displayed on the eVic now.

so buy the evic, be happy and play.
in the meantime, save some cash, get verified and cruise the classifieds for a deal on a provari, i have seen them go for as low as 100 bucks with extension caps.

i have a buddy who always waits for the next thing, and guess what? he doesnt have anything lol.
if it works and the vape is good how much more do you need to keep buying?

    Found it!

Can I upgrade to V2 if I have a V1 device? A: Yes. We offer a upgrade for $20 each, if you are in the US. This covers the cost to upgrade the device and return shipping. If you are shipping it back from outside the US, please contact us and we can provide return shipping rates. In order to upgrade you will need to send the unit to us for its updates. Please allow shipping and processing time. There is no time limit on the V2 upgrade, so you can do it at anytime. We cannot upgrade the display to blue. We can only update the board you have to V2 with no additional changes. At this time we cannot add any merchandise or orders to a return. You would need to place a new order and it would be shipped out separate. If you would like to upgrade to V2 please contact us with your original order number and we can arrange the return.
