i preordered one from 101vape for $70 due to get to me mid may. theres a huge want for a hana similar mod and hana production cant meet that demand so not a surprise to me at all ill prolly get a genuine eventually but until they are available when i have the money this should do

Precisely. The differences between the "33.3 Hz chip" and something with a smooth output all boils down to filtering. Small high-value capacitors aren't exactly cheap.

There is no real availability problem with Evolv. Nor was the deal with Zen exclusive.

I dunno, the last coop I was in for DNA 30 boards experienced a fairly significant delay between the time the order was placed and when it shipped. It's not like they have back stock to fill orders with.

Still, that doesn't make it right to price a box with a chip that anyone can buy and make with simple soldering above 200usd. Having cheaper products with the same performances makes for competitiveness and induces creativity, no one likes a monopoly.

I'm not trying to start anything by asking this But really? I've been going to the evolve site for 3 months, at least 3 times a week, trying to get a DNA 30 chip from them. Every time I try to buy one, it always shows "Inventory out of stock and is unavailable". Yeah there sure seems to be an availability problem. To me anyway. But I'm certainly not the only one that has seen that there truly is an availability problem. Just this thread alone is choked full of postings confirming it.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that exactly how the older version hanas were made? (with the seam across the top) Not that that's a good thing either way. Guess they cloned the wrong version.

It is. I recently purchased the mini clone. I'm happy.
