That flat out box design doesn't really do anything for me nowadays. I'm spoiled by designs with at least one side rounded. I think they both look better and are more ergonomic. Just my :2c:.

Cheers,
Steve
I have to agree with this as well. The VS DNA200 wowed me when it just came out but now its just a black box...

i'm going to venture a yes on the VS dna75. they used every board from evolv starting the dna20. another reason for me thinking they'll do a 75 version is the multi color LED underneath the fire button. it's almost like evolv did that for VS and just kept that feature on ALL the 75 boards so everyone could have that function. i'm curious to see how evolv will incorporate 2 amp charging for the 75 VS.

Where did you hear this?
hear what? that VS is going to release a dna 75 mod? i don't know for a fact VS is doing a dna 75 mod, but chances are very good. or do mean the LED? the dna 75 has a user programmable LED under the fire button. so my thinking is, why wouldn't VS take advantage of the dna 75 board. the board is already set up for a VS enclosure. all that is needed is for evolv to incorporate 2 amp charging on the 75's pcb.

I don't see 2 amp charging being as big a deal on an 18650 mod as it on a 3s Lipo Mod. Then again I don't charge my 18650's internally. I just pop in a fresh 18650(s) and put the used one(s) in a XTAR VC4 charger. Just my :2c:.

Steve

The ones talking about the bad battery life are ones that are using it. That's what worries me the most.
The board is less efficient on paper than the 200watt but this was discussed on pages 7-8 here that this might be due the boost converter being less efficient. I am still uncertain too though as Evolv have had strange things in the past on their boards, like no reverse battery protection or inverted output signal which were later changed. However for what is worth Vapingbad has used it for some time and said it was not an issue for him.
