To me SlickWilly, a Windows 7 machine is far more valuable than a Windows 10 machine. Are you sick and tried of Notifications yet? One machine keeps telling me like 6 times a day that my Recovery partition drive Z is low on disk space. Like I really care, it could be zero bytes free for all I care. And that is how HP set it up. But the notifications didn't start until Windows updates started rolling in of course. And Microsoft pops up a message by saying they want to help. If you click on it, they want to help by cleaning out temporary files, caches, music, and whatnot. Which is going to do zilch for drive Z of course. I'd get out my disk utility software out to just steal some of that 800GB free from drive C, except there is a brick wall between C and Z called an EFI partition between the two. 
I ordered one back on November 11, 2018 and it arrived at the end of May 2019. And I'll never order another one. So take care of that one once you get it.

You can turn off notifications, Bill, at least in Win10/Pro. I turned everything off but still get a notification, daily, that I'll only see "critical" notifications.
Windows 10 Home you can turn them off too, but they still come in anyway. I believe I read that turning them off only works while gaming.

Oh it is drive D that gets notifications and not drive Z. And I don't think I should remove a system drive letter, as removing that one might keep it from booting, right?
The Windows RE partiton is the Windows Recovery Environment that is launched from safe start etc...
If Drive D is just a Recovery Partition that has none of your files on it, you can remove the drive letter to stop the messages.
The 3D printed dual 20700 sled in my PWM mod cracked and split in two places tonight making poor contact with the cells. It was a sled from Motley Mods, so I'll not get another one of those again.
