Sitting down, facing forward.
I'll take some photos later, but I'm planning on the positive at the top, 510 end, so I rounded the negative end to get that clearance at the top. The way the sled is built the contacts can be recessed below the plastic at both the top and bottom with a little crimp from a pair of needle nose. Kapton tape is just a little extra insurance in case anything moves/changes. I assume that they relied on the rounded corners of the case up there to improve the friction for the wedge fit, at least that's what I'm planning on so far. Even without wedging it in place the sled needs to be put in and removed almost perfectly parallel so it doesn't jam along the way.

Looked around at sleds online quite a bit and in the end cheeped out by ordering 2 sleds from FT. They looked like they would afford more protection from shorting, but FT screwed up the dimensions again so not even sure it will go in there. Seems compact enough to be made to fit if necessary.

They didn't come wedged in just unfixed, not a problem if you screw the cover on and IIRC as Mike said they wanted to encourage us to test the charging.

If the DNA75 is open now, I'm curious what specifically was added over the dna200. I remember reading the 75 had an option or two over the 200 but nothing ground breaking.

Again, just curious.
Reverse battery protection built in and the ability to change the color of the light on the fire button is the only things that come to mind.

As @dwcraig1 & @Tpat591 said, it got a couple of DNA 200 features during the process like battery analyser. The SS regulation is awesome IMO, that's what I have mainly been using on it. I was considering PIFing all my SS wire, not any more it now has first class temp limiting status IMO, even with dual coils.

Is that SS smoothing proprietary to the 75 or is it also in the 200?

It will come to the 200, but the 200 is a more punchy board so maybe not exactly the same but very close. The fw is still in beta and being tweaked regularly, the version in the pic is old now.
