One thing I learned, dont use cheap swivels. I was using some old swivels I had in my Kite Bag, the swivels that came with the jig worked 100 times better.
So does teflon dry lube on the swivels. That said, my diy claptoning jig doesn't use swivels, rods, guides or wire tamers, just one bearing, one 1/4" bolt and good old fashion hand/eye coordination. :w00t:[/QUOTE]

I got tired of waiting for a non-fugly DNA75C, so i just now grabbed an ePetite from ElegoMall (USD$72)...and as stocks of silver/wood are depleted most everywhere i had to order it in silver/black carbon fibre, and then order a set of ebony wood panels from the UK..(VapeGeek)...given my love of TreeBoxen, i couldnt have one without wood panels...

I think if id waited much longer id find it hard to get in any combo...theyre selling out everywhere (at reasonable prices at least)

Waiting for a non-fugly DNA75C was pointless, almost cost me a shot at a perfectly good ePetite, and made getting wood to slap on the sides a bit of a mission

So ill be back to dna'ing again soon, i have missed it

Please share pics!! We love pics! So I gotta ask, what's the bear vape on? Again, pics please! And as you'll find, coffee pics are a running theme here, hint, hint. :)

Hey you're strange, why would anyone want to disown you? You fit right in here!
Yep, you and style should get in like a house on fire. You both share the same misguided view on the divine art that is Squonking......

Well if that's the case, I'll get on first and show off my custom Krisma panels, just so style's will look all drab in comparison.....

If style is true to form, he'll decide it doesn't perform as well as his harem of Treeboxes and move it on a couple of days after receiving it anyway......

So I've been using nickel on my DNA 75's and 200's for TC a long time now, dual coils, five spaced wraps on a 2.5 mm rod with rayon coming in around .03 ohms in the mizers. I have no problems running .03 ohms on the 75's and 200's but it's right on the edge for the 40's and 60 boards and I really like the small form factor of the mods I can build with those boards. I'm trying hard to give stainless wire another go because I get higher ohm coils that run well on the 40's and 60's but I can't get the same good flavor with stainless to save my ...., it's very muted, I might as well vape flavorless juice. I get the thing same with stainless on the 75's and the 200's, is that just the nature of stainless? If not I'm doing something wrong and I need to figure it out soon or I'll shelve the stainless, again but I don't want to. I wan't to be able to use the smaller 40 and 60 mods dang nab it! Grrrr.... (bear growl!) I've tried UD and no name stainless from the local shop (identical results) and I've been using the Evolv preloaded CSV temp curves, don't know if these are a factor?

I love the blue! The second one reminds me of a cross section of a brain! Funny the pics showed in the email notice for a new post and they show now in the quote but not in your original post or in my reply?? I'll try saving them and reposting em below.

I used a 7/16 drillbit on the hub.

Made a couple of sticks just using the spool tamer. There is a learning curve there too, but it is easier in the long run I think.

One thing I learned, dont use cheap swivels. I was using some old swivels I had in my Kite Bag, the swivels that came with the jig worked 100 times better.

Oh...I'm supposed to use the swivels...:censored:

Actually no, the main way that jig is used is without swivels. I am not even sure why they include them, but they are good swivels. I use the swivels without the jig, just the swivels and a drill.

I somehow manage to thread two 28ga wires through that little rod that comes with the jig, and put that in the drill chuck.
