No C's here but I think if your fast enough it works, or too slow and both forget.
Yes that is what I thought too. But someone said for the 250C, you have about 10 minutes. I don't know if it is that long, but you do have plenty of time.

On my 75Cs, I pop them out and swap in seconds and it is all reset. Wait... let me pull one out now and pop it back in real fast. Okay it did remember if I swap batteries in 2 seconds.

I solved that, dual 20700s.
I wish I did have some dual 20700 mods around. I have one 20700 BF mod and I am pretty fed up with it. And now I have four 20700 batts just sitting with nothing else they will fit in. :(

No, they're in parallel, remove one and it just keeps going. To be honest I normally charge it, overnight, using the USB port. That lets me monitor time and watt hours of each charge. I love it. I can run four days plus of fairly heavy use between charges and it isn't all that big compared to the ERM+. It is definitely heavier, though.

Sounds like a homemade mod to me. Say in parallel, if you pull one out, no problems yet. Slap in a charged one... now the charged one is charging the drained one. But in seconds you pull that drained one and replace it will a charged one too. Is that how you are doing it?

No, the freshly charged battery won't get discharged by the drained battery IF you move quickly. We're only talking a second or two, three at most. Plus, like I said I just use the onboard charger most of the time. In twelve cycles, so far, I only used an external charger once. Come to think of it, I pulled both batteries, charged them, say out of the mod for six hours, plugged them back in and had no loss of anything, at least nothing I'm aware of.

I guess the ram memory is backed up with a cap then, instead of a battery? Maybe the caps on some boards are better than others?

Yes that I have heard, there is a cap. Although if you have it plugged into USB, that board gets power that way but can't fire without batteries. But the clock will continue. Also I know EScribe can sync the clock. It does it when you open up the Device Manager. It may sync some other way, but I have never found it yet.

Morning everyone, everyone rested and chipper? Sunday, day of rest, day of reflection and giving thanks for the blessing we have. Me, I'm so grateful for those that love me, I'm a rich man. The rest is in the good Lord's hands, I put myself in his hand and trust in his plans.

Been hiding out the last week, trying to mend back to "normal for me". Made a trip into town yesterday taking the rural roads slow and seeing the country side. Wow things have changed in just a week, folks are gathering harvests at the farms and cars packing the road side stands, won't be long and the cider mill will reopen, fresh cold cider, hot donuts and pie, yum! Walmart was loaded with people shopping for school supplies, saw they were selling hunting lic so I picked up mine, maybe THIS will be the year I get back into the woods, hope so. Dropped by the farm supply to pick up bird seed, folks were stocking up on canning and freezing supplies for the annual harvest which comes a little early in NY. Ladies holding up summer closeout clothes to the kids, "These gonna fit you next year?" We all have to save where we can, I'm a sucker for a bargain too, picked up some nice t-shirts for $3 each! Farmers were buying parts for their equipment, this is the time of year they get a workout and stuff breaks, a scramble to get them fixed and back in the fields. Forgot to get my copy of Farmers Almanac, next trip.

So summer's going to wind down already, I'll have to suck it up, push through knocking stuff off the "get ready for winter" list... Love the break from the heat but I don't like what follows. Summer slips by so fast and winter seems to drag on forever... But not today, not today. :)

When I was a kid back in the early 60's I grew up in the country outside what was then, a small town, then the farm land around us was sold off and new houses popped up all around. Dad bought another place, this one outside a small village, much like the first but this one set way back from the road with enough land around it to keep us in privacy. He bought it from a older fellow named Mark who was retiring to Florida, I had the chance to meet with him a few times at the property and I noticed he had traps, rifles and deer mounts. Mark told me about all the hunting, fishing and trapping he had done there for many, many years, I was so excited! Eight feet from the side of the house was a creek, out back acres and acres of woods with creeks running through it and a rail road track boarding the back yard which made it easy hiking to fishing holes and wooded areas. I grew up swimming, fishing, hunting, trapping (Mark left me a few) and camping, I couldn't get enough of being outside! Then I got married, had a kid and the dreams I had of one day living in the wild were pushed to the back on my mind, but for those that did it was something I always envied.

Today I'm going to relax and watch some of these peaceful videos on youtube, thought maybe a few might enjoy watching them too, how to live the good life away from all the mad dashes of life.
